So which country are you posting from?

Every time there's a topic in the OT that's regarding countries in the East or just Middle East, I've always noticed lotta people posting that seem to be very clueless about the said country's culture, government, religion and traditions. Of course there are lotta insightful posts too, and I don't want to make this sound like a "Oh you Uhmericans..."
I am simply curious to know how "Global" GAF actually is? I know there are lotta peeps from Europe, UK, Sweden, Netherlands and such, but how far of the corners of the world does GAF go? So post the country you represent, please don't say "Barbados" if you are simply there for a week on vacation or stuff like that, post the country you are currently living in, for work, family etc. And since the U.S GAF is probably the majority here, maybe just narrow it down to "US. East Coast" "US. Central" or "US Mid-South" and "US West Coast" etc. Probably a crappy time to make this thread, since half of the Eastern hemisphere is still sleep... but whatever. Flags are encouraged but optional, I'll start. EDIT 2: Also, posting prominent landmarks, popular icons from your country or State are highly encouraged, why not? Extra points for being more creative!  Canada (East)
