Not sure if this was already known, but Retro City Rampage will be part of the Cross Buy promotion:

There was a question over the legitimacy of the quote, but eh. |

Nice.
For the future of the system I see the majority of cross buy being for PSN titles. Since even though Sony supports its later console when the newest one is out, I don't see that lasting very long where it is supporting retail PS3 and PSV games. |

This old news though.
When the heck is the game coming out? |

So the cross buy games now:
Motorstorm RC Wipeout DLC MLB The Show (I think? Not sure) Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time Ratchet and Clank: Q Force PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Retro City Rampage Any missing from that list? Hopefully we see plenty more in the future. |

Well, acording to jstevenson ( http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost...&postcount=373 ) this will most likely be a new OS implemented feature, and likely have it's own section on the PSN store, so it's possible that's what this announcement is about.
Before it would have just been like the previous games, buy 1, get a second 2 download button for the other system. |

There have already been (at least) 6 games "pay once, get both".
Available: MotorStorm RC Upcoming: Zen Pinball 2

Sound Shapes, The Pinball Arcade, and Foosball 2012 all fall into this category.

Sources? I know all three are PS3/Vita games (well, Machinarium apparently hadn't been approved by Sony as of last month but it should be) but I haven't heard a thing about them actually being cross buy.
And technically, Zen Pinball 2 isn't really a cross buy game. It's a free to play game on both systems and the DLC is cross buy. |

You realise this is completely out of their hands, right? Microsoft's the one holding it up and they've been doing so since June.

I was on the fence about this one, but this has convinced me to drop the cash. I don't have a Vita yet (I'm still waiting for games on it) but the fact that they are willing to do the right thing for the customer at the possible loss of sales is enough for me to give them the benefit of the doubt on it.

I randomly decided to go on the RCR site a few days back and they have a decent amount of soundtrack samples. Many of them were posted on January of 2011. I know this is basically a solo op but it also sank in on how frustrating it is waiting for this to come out. |

Actually pretty excited about this. Good for Vita owners.

If this game isn't out by early September, the creators should just release the PSN, Wii, and Steam versions and call Microsoft's bluff. Make it disgustingly fucking public, and see if they dont come crawling anyway. |

Like I said in my last post, some kind of generic "soon" response would help. |
