Sony should change their slogan to "Two steps forward. One step back." |

Well if they're porting it, I hope they take the time to re-render it in HD.
The game doesn't even run at native res on Vita. |

Miku is going to sell a ton of Vitas. All those people could just wait a year or however long it is to play it on their PS3 but they are choosing to play a game they really want to play as soon as its available. |

Hopefully this brings more players to the game. Also, hopefully they re-launch the title with Cross Buy in NA and EU.
Edit: Also, be honest folks. As much as it's nice to have this on PS3, there is still something very incredible and fun involved in carrying the game around with you and being able to put the system to sleep. It's simply not "the same". At least not to me. Portability is still a selling point for this game, IMO. |

I have never been given the impression that these games sold a large amount outside of Japan post-PS2 so I'm obviously talking about Japan in regards to its' sales. |

I'll revise my statement as say it's one less reason for me to buy a Vita as it was literally the only game I wanted for it. Honestly I like the hardware itself but I can't justify a purchase without games I want to get on it. |

It almost certainly will be. At the lowest, it'll be $39.99. I think Sony will probably price it at $59.99 in the US, and bundle in the Vita version as a "value add". Maybe some new content as well.

The game was a launch title on a system that only JUST hit 2.2 million units. I'd hardly say this was the fault of anything other than Vita's poor performance. It's not like other Vita titles are selling gangbusters by comparison. |

Considering that the Japanese market predominantly handheld centric, I personally don't think this is too much of a problem.

Minna no Golf on PSP was a launch title as well, and sold three or four times Minna no Golf on Vita. Bigger install base, of course, but this doesn't mean that Sony was happy with such sales. Minna no Golf was used to see at least 400k units sold in Japan alone.

This had been heavily hinted at since the Vita version came out from what I remember, and as slow as ClapHanz operates I'm sure the decision was made a long-ass time ago.
It'll be nice to be reunited with friends from PS3 HSG5 who stuck with that game and didn't pick up a Vita. And I'm sure the server population by whenever it comes out in US/EU could use a boost. |

So what? It is still a big disappointment sales-wise compared to any other installment of the saga.
Minna no Golf PSP was at >370k at this point Minna no Golf 5 was at >380k at this point Last numbers we had, Minna no Golf 6 was at barely 100k + PSN sales. That's a big failure. |

If this poster agrees with you, you're doing something very wrong.

That doesnt seem right. They didnt port PSP games before because they were too technically inferior... now they are not, so I cant understand what is the problem. It is a good thing. |
