Uh, apparently "they" are bringing "Black Isle" back...

Black Isle is dead. I don't think even having Obsidian being absorbed into this new thing would even fully legitimize it for me.
However, if this new studio is dedicated to making games like the old Black Isle did, I wish them the best of luck. Unfortunately, the skeptic in me either expects them to end up working on F2P Facebook "RPGs".

Site doesnt even load properly for me, thx for answering. I am rather surprised Interplay still exists and they want to get back to making RPGs after looking at their recent release schedule. Doesnt seem like they are swimming in money.

Yep, it kinda makes more sense since Obsidian are involved with Wasteland 2. Still, not getting my hopes up - maybe they would work better as individual companies.
