By covering up the boob window, they're not taking away the fanservice, because it still exists in the comics, but they are de-emphasizing her breasts in marketing to get people to buy PG for her personality and plot rather than 'Hey guys! Tits!". If nothing else, it is a step in the right direction for how PR should work. Also, I'm not sure why you think I decide anything on power girl. I don't read her comics and it's not because I think it's juvenile porn. I'm just not interested in the character. What I'm writing here about how people view PG is from the publics point of view and how DC is taking measures to change that for the better by emphasizing her character over her tits in the public consciousness. Whatever happens in the actual comic is another matter entirely and it has nothing to do with what I personally think of PG at all. |

It's definitely worth looking up more of her work. She's a fantastic artist that can never get enough praise in my book.

The supervillain Major Force murdered Kyle Rayner's girlfriend and stuffed her corpse in Kyle's refrigerator for him to find later. It inspired the trope name for killing off a female character just to get a reaction out of a hero.

Wonder Woman is a great character with a great backstory, but such boring supporting characters and villains.
Superman is a fairly boring character with a great backstory. I think they actually work well together. Forget Lois Lane, try something different for God's sake. I'm sick of superheroes and their "eternal loves" that are blasphemy to change. |

hah, if you were Matt Murdock, you would know what it feels like to have a love/hate relationship with whatever god-like being created you. Lets just say that any moment of happiness he experiences comes with it's own 'countdown to the breakdown'. It's precise enough to make a drinking game out of it, so by the time the villain behind all the misery shows up, you'll be too nicely soused to even care.
People don't just fuck with Daredevil, they adopt whole new philosophies of griefing/trolling. It becomes the "fucking with Daredevil" lifestyle. Now, that there's a smile. You know how much a lot of people would give to have Princess Diana trample them? Pretty sure Bruce is a boots fetishist, not to mention PVC, and BDSM. I don't even mind stupid sexy naked Herc. I could actually drink a beer with that dude.

although i do wish Lois was the mother. Wonderwoman is something that needs to happen in another dimension or something, cuz the offspring of that would would be absurd in terms of power :P

To explain further, in one She-Hulk comic, she ran into an alternate universe where there were a bunch of un-powered versions of the regular Marvel heroes. IIRC, these folks had been engaging in some, let's say, transdimensional tourism, and had been crossing over into the main universe to do stuff with the powers of their counterparts. The "She-Hulk" who slept with Juggernaut was apparently the Jennifer Walters of this alternate universe. Copied from Wikipedia:
