How To Transfer A PSone Game From Your PS3 To Your Vita:

If you have a game you'd like to copy that isn't available on the Vita's version of the PSN yet, don't fret just yet. If you see a game listed above you can copy it from a PS3 to your Vita. Please note that you have to do all of these steps even if you currently have the PSone game you want installed on your PS3.

Step One: Go to the PS Store on your PS3. You must be logged into the same account on your PS3 that is on your Vita.




Step Two: Go to the PS3 Games section and then the PSone Classics.




Step Three: Find the game you'd like to copy. Download it to your PS3. Purchase it if you haven't already, but previously bought games and PS Plus freebies will also work on your PS3 & Vita, too.




Step Four: With the game downloaded to your PS3, it will look like this on the PS3's main menu/XMB. This is the game's installation bubble which you can use to install the game to your Vita, PS3, or both.




Step Five: Making sure you're at the PS3's main menu/XMB with nothing else open on the PS3 or Vita, plug your Vita into your PS3 using the Vita's data cable. Your Vita will automatically start bobbing the Content Manager icon. Open it.



Your PS3 will automatically display this screen.




Step Six: You're going to select Copy Content from PS3 to Vita, Applications, PlayStation, and then Applications Downloaded on the PS3 System. This is all super-obvious, but I figured extra screen caps couldn't hurt.










Step Seven: Select your PSone game(s) you wish to copy. Hit copy. The game will copy from the PS3 to Vita.





That's it, you're done! The game will pop up on the last screen on your Vita at the bottom, just scroll down.





Congrats- you might have just added one of the best games ever made to your Vita.

Hot Shots Golf 2 worked for me via PS3 transfer, i received it via playstation plus.

downloading international track and field (other PS+ freebie), will test/edit in results in like 5 min.

International Track and Field PS+ ps3 transfer worked.

If you download the games from the store on the PS3 and you DON'T install them so that they're still represented as bubbles, then you can transfer them on the PSVita.
