Think of monthly shipping! By the time I get my comics I know exactly what I want to read most.

Also jungle girl omnibus sale at comixology....yay or neigh?

I could never in my life wait that long. I barely make it through the day now that I pick my books up after work as opposed to before.

This is how I decided what books to drop. If I ever got that frowny feeling, the book gets dropped. It's odd how much money I spent on bad books because I felt obligated to read them.

I totally get that excited too, every Wednesday! As far as reading order, I read the best books first and take it from there. This week, it's either Dial H up first or Hawkeye.

Sorry to go on, but can anyone recommend some Spider-trades for me? Just finished Spider-Island and Avenging, loved them, want to get back into it.

Edit: Haha, didn't see the above post - thanks! Whereabouts does that begin, as far as the trades go? Which do I get first?

Not sure of the actual order but here are the links to the trades.

The Big Time Ultimate Collection I think reprints everything from Big Time to Spider Island.

Kathryn Immonen, Stuart's wife.

In response to Garryk's question: It's ostensibly an ongoing run, but sales for JiM are already pretty low, so I'd be surprised if the book lasts long enough for her to do more than two arcs.

Can't identify the two characters above and behind Cap. Marvel. I'm guessing the fire guy next to Thor is Human Torch, but I'm probably wrong.

Presumably Cannonball and Sunspot - Hickman said New Mutants characters were in the book, and he's a huge fan of those two, seeing as they starred in the first story he ever wrote for Marvel.

The guy behind Captain Marvel is a mystery, possibly completely new. Shang-Chi will be a member as well according to prior interviews, which leaves three more characters in the 18-member lineup that aren't shown here.

That's the enlarged version straight from Marvel's own site. Far as I can tell, there's no one has a better version.

Oh my god. I started reading comics regularly in january 2010 so I've only ever read FC as a complete thing. Having to wait between issues of final crisis would have killed me.

That's probably Sunspot, not Torch. It's a new design, but it seems a bit closer to the former's look, and Hickman is a big fan of him and Cannonball as a pair.

I'd sell now since the property is red hot. Honestly, stuff like that typically loses value when its popularity dies down.

Assuming you need the money and won't miss having it in your collection of course.

I think it normally hovers around 6-10 for whose the main team in a given book, but the Avengers are usually pretty huge in membership.

Hickman said that book all basically revolve, showing different groups at different times, and having groups change members from time to time. My guess is issue 1-3 each focus on Cap, Thor, and Iron Man's teams respectively.

It is atypically large, but Hickman is good at plotting things out long-term, and plans to balance out bigger arcs featuring the whole cast with shorter arcs focusing on a handful of members, so I have faith that he knows what he's doing.

18+ members? Jeez.

Black Panther is also likely on the team, if this random answer from Hickman's formspring can be taken as any indication.

Also calling Cyclops, Storm, and/or Emma to be on the team at some point.

It's fine. I'm sure he'll focus on those that are needed for specific missions. I love big teams when they are used this way, ala the cartoon Justice League Unlimited.
