Why I think parties suck, to go into more detail, is because at some point it becomes some game. It's like rooting for a team even if you don't like all the players. That's not what politics should be about, or at least I don't think that's what they should be about.

They have no plan. They have vague notions. Because when you're proposing taking out a massive chunk of government spending you can't have your cake and eat it too. As soon as people know who Romney intends to hang out to try to pay for top end and corporate tax cuts the Democrats are going to absolutely hammer them.
