Guys, alphaNoid said I'm not wrong, it's just my opinion. "Opinions, how do they work," indeed. |

I have an opinion about how marginal tax rates work. AlphaNoid has a different one. Neither of us are wrong! |

Yep, the show was heavy in native american spiritualism. I think it was around the 5th season he became born again in real life, and after that zero indians were seen after that.

Except he could have let them expire once already and he didn't. Face it, the guy is spineless, and he lets himself get thrown around by the republicans in the house. He governed the last 4 years as Republican-lite. He can talk big now during election season, but we'll see what happens. I bet that whatever legislation that gets passed this fall to cut our deficit will be the same whether it's Obama or Romney in the white house. |

We actually had almost exactly 1000 years of darkness (actually referred to as the dark ages) that stalled virtually all scientific progress in Europe during the entire span.
The Christian church was intertwined fundamentally with virtually all political systems at that time. |

No and that's the point. I don't think there will be much of a difference between Obama and Romney. Certainly not enough that one is going to destroy the country like all these morons seem to think.

Obama passes ACA and forced Republicans to denounce the individual mandate even though they had been championing it for the past 2 decades. That wouldn't have happened if a Republican were in office. |

Ha! He's not one of those people who thinks that you can actually make LESS while having a higher income because your tax rate goes up, is he?

Took me a minute, but I get your point now.
I guess I'm just frustrated that he promises so much during election seasons, but can never make it happen. Even if it's not entirely his fault I don't get the sense that he's fighting back very hard at all. |

Because the Dems wont allow it. They like to project the opposite of the GOP. Stoop to their level, and all that. |

fear mongering. sabre rattling. If you frighten enough people, you would be amazed at what you can get away with.

So if Obama gets re-elected, then what? It seems like this language insinuates that Obama is such a threat that in order to protect the US, he must be stopped at all costs; another four years of Obama would destroy the country, according to these people. So what are they really saying, if democracy doesn't work he must be taken out by other means?

Oh Chuck, hyperbole much? The unfortunate thing is that folks might actually take him seriously.
That's a bit of a stretch. |
