Define tolerating religious people. Does it mean not arguing with their ideas about god? Does it mean not telling them they're wrong when they suggest evolution doesn't happen? Does it mean never calling out beliefs some find absurd? Because none of that is intolerance of a person.

Actually we aren't that tolerant of religion, especially in the states where dumb ass fundamentals angers up the blood trying to interfere with school and science. It gets the rightful haterade. One religion ain't going to get special treatment over others.

Religion is based on intolerance. Let's not forget how believers scoff at other religions too. Additionally, beliefs are worth nothing unless there is some rational reason to hold that belief. I can make up a belief right now, that doesn't make it worth anything, or sacred to me. Scientology is universally laughed at, but they demand just as much respect. Will you think it intolerant to mock Scientology as if Scientology had any worth?
