one of them refers to the other as a husband, so rather than confuse people its better to outright state that they were two women and why they would refer to each other as such.

If that's the case, and it wasn't done out of malice, then I retract my previous statement. I just get irked when violence in any form is celebrated.

I remember the time this incident happened, the dude was let go from Macdonalds, understandably so, wonder if he'll get hired anywhere else again though.
I think the article is saying that this incident caused them to break up and end thier long romantic relationship, which I agree, is still kind of irrelevant to the main story, but I guess it makes the tabloidesque article a little more of a dramatic read.

He beat a woman half to death with a metal bar and people think that's okay?
No doubt the ladies were in the wrong, but he was incredibly excessive, violent and savage. A bigger man would've just walked away and let the manager deal with it. Not trying to stir the pot, just my opinion. |

If I were working at mcdonalds, I would immediately assume that anyone who JUMPS THE COUNTER is armed. There's a reason why almost every fast food restaurant in New York City has the massive plastic theft guard blocking off the kitchen from the rest of the area. |

I live in England, so guns wouldn't really enter my mind if I was in that situation. I'd just walk off/leave if possible. He could've done that too, but he continued to literally smash her skull in while she was completely defenseless. I've had a girl beat my face in before, she probably punched me about 50 times, scrapped all my face with her nails. Fucked me up quite bad lol. I asked for it, but I didn't react violently. What this young man did just seems over the top. |

You're an idiot for taking that much abuse without defending yourself just because she was a girl. It's not like women are dainty little flowers with no muscles, the average woman can do considerable damage. See the story above. Plus, what if her nail caught your eye, you'd be blind. Also, I don't see anything excessive in the video. It looks like he only hit each one once or twice while they were on the ground, and if I were a betting man, I'd say it was because they were trying to get up and continue fighting. |

You start shit, you're going to get some. I hate it when instigators start acting like they're the victims.
Still, how much is excess? If he killed them, is that justified? That line has to be drawn somewhere, but it seems this reaction was not considered excess. |

Equal rights, equal fights. Fuck the bull. Don't go spitting and attacking people and you won't get mollywhopped.
See: Don't start shit, won't be shit... I don't give a shit I don't put my hands on other people and I refuse to have someone put their hands on me. I support dude 100% in being cleared of any wrong doing. He fell back after being attacked and THEY went on the offensive. Hospitalization, surgery, court dates, possible jail time for fucking what? Cause you didn't get extra cheese in yo happy meal? Fail.
