You make a top-11 list of JC films and you can't find room for In the Mouth of Madness?

I know the feel. I was wondering whether to remove A Separation. And I did feel my list was too serious *sigh*

In no particular order:
-Goodfellas -Godfather -Star Wars Trilogy -Indiana Jones Trilogy -Citizen Kane -The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly -Pulp Fiction -Austin Powers trilogy (I know, I know, but I never laugh as much with any other movie) -Rocky -Dark Knight I'm forgetting some that should be on there, I know it. Have a shitty memory. |

All of mine are silly and fun mostly. ._.
Beauty and the Beast Princess Bride Titanic Stage Beauty Kiki's Delivery Service Lord of the Rings (cheating, whole trilogy) Raiders of the Lost Ark Gone With the Wind Anchorman (it's my favourite funny stupid movie ever) Sound of Music Adding more, there would be a lot of Disney films, a lot of other animated films, things like King's Speech, the Artist, other older films, Star Wars, Fifth Element, Nolan's Batman trilogy. I don't even know if that list would be my top ten... just ten movies that came to mind. And Beauty and the Beast and Princess Bride are always, always there.

Most of mine would be nostalgia based more than anything, so it will likely make no sense to anyone else:
The Crow Plunkett & Macleane The Princess Bride Desperado Serenity Empire Records Mallrats Snatch What's Eating Gilbert Grape and erm...I guess the Avengers? I suck at movies. |

Nothing's changed for me since last year's thread:
A Woman Under the Influence (John Cassavetes, 1974) Winter Light (Ingmar Bergman, 1962) All About Eve (Joseph Mankiewicz, 1950) The Red Shoes (Powell & Pressburger, 1948) Paper Moon (Peter Bogdanovich, 1973) Happy Together (Wong Kar-wai, 1997) Mulholland Drive (David Lynch, 2001) Paris, Texas (Wim Wenders, 1984) Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid (Sam Peckinpah, 1973) Birth (Jonathan Glazer, 2004) The next ten would've been the Flower of My Secret, Babe: Pig in the City, the Face of Another, Au Hasard Balthazar, Dead Ringers, Hud, Schizopolis, the Conformist, the Scent of Green Papaya, and Shadow of a Doubt. |

Bergman made such an impact on me. No CG, No death defying stunts, just crazy visuals, great dialogue and amazing themes. |

Limiting this to top ten doesn't help. Am I suppose to replace Boogie Nights with La Dolce Vita? I mean, I could, but then Boogie Nights isn't on the list!
I envy those people who can really get it down to 10 and vote for it in the Sight and Sound list or whatever. I couldn't do it. |

This is just a random list. Ask me again tomorrow and I'd changed out half of it.
In no particular order. The 400 Blows Yojimbo The Wicker Man The Lives of Others City of God Schindler's List Jaws One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest The Good, the Bad and the Ugly Tokyo Story Loved each film the first time I saw them and just as much on multiple viewings. |

A Fish Called Wanda
Johnny Stecchino North By Northwest Infernal Affairs Army of Darkness Kung Fu Hustle Who Framed Roger Rabbit? Trading Places The Princess Bride When Harry Met Sally tough stuff, but the first six are my top movies undoubtedly. I had to actually check facebook to see what I put down but that didn't actually help because it was mostly those first six :P |

It is. The only movie that I think could probably make it to all lists for me would be The 400 Blows. I love that film so much.
