Platinum is just the player of game companies. Inaba tells every publisher 'you're the only one for us. we want to work with you as much as possible', and you turn the corner and he's eyeing GabeN at the checkout counter, and Iwata hits him with his purse

Wow, a Valve/Platinum Games collaboration would be badass. Finally get them on PC, as well.
LOL, so true. |

As far as single player games, I'd love to see Platinum work on Bayonetta 3 next and Ninja Gaiden. I also wish Mikami was back at Platinum and that they were helping him contribute to Zwei and that he was giving his advise/supervision on Vanquish 2. Overall I think they should stick to fresh IP, sequels to their own original IP, and add freshness to other company's existing IP. |

Red hot kick into a portal, comes out the other portal chops you in half, kicks one half of you through the other portal and then kicks the other half of you through the other portal...where am I going with this?

Whattabouta Platinum collaboration with Treasure...Sin and Vanquishment III: Successor to Awesomesauce?
It would be a collaboration of the best talent/minds to leave Capcom and Konami. What is the likelihood of Nintendo or Platinum syncing up with Valhalla Studios? I'd love Devil's Third to be resurrected on Wii U or worked on in collaboration with Platinum or Tango.

Really wondering if someone is going to buy Platinum games.
Nintendo could, Sega could, Konami could. However I really hope that they stay as devlopers who can collaborate with everyone. They're the best thing coming out of Japan right now. |

Sega couldn't even afford to publish a sequel to their best selling game by far, why in the world would they buy platinum?

I really believe the only publisher who might be willing to buy P* is Square Enix. But this is based on nothing other than the fact that they like buying studios. |

I don't care if it's "port begging," Platinum's games need to be on PC. Vanquish @ 60 fps and true HD = YES.
Well Nintendo, you know what to do. *Iwata puts on Itagaki shades* |

I noticed they don't have anything announced for Sega too. I think they're really pissed at Sega for not releasing Max Anarchy outside Japan and cancelling Bayonetta 2 and are looking to hook up with someone else, but don't want to give up their IPs. I think something might happen after Revengeance comes out.
Dream scenario, Nintendo buys them along with their IPs and someday Kamiya makes a Star Fox and a Zelda. |

well when eshop/GC VC goes up, at least we'll get Viewtiful Joe HD collection, so that's cool. Star Fox x Star Tropics or whatever they're working on next according to my sources should likewise be enjoyable.

EDIT:@IrishNinja...Capcom owns Viewtiful Joe so it would be up to them not Platinum (ignore if you were just messing with us). |

It's called Max Anarchy/Reigns for most people. I actually think MA/R looks terrible but I would really like a Madworld 2. The original way WAY too short though. If I had paid $50 I would've been pissed but I bought it off Amazon for $5

Actually only played about 3 hours and never got back to it. Someday, perhaps. I remember it being decent fun. |
