Rayman Origins for $10 is tempting. I started playing Puppeteer recently and I find it really refreshing and fun. Is Origins anything like it?

Dark Souls for $5 is also a great price but I know that game would only frustrate and anger me.

I bought Dark Souls. Can't decide on Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon (loved FC3 but didn't really like the trial of this), Red Dead Redemption and The Witcher 2 (or getting State of Decay DLC).

I haven't really like RDR so far, I already finished The Witcher 2 but sold it. Not sure i'll actually play State of Decay DLC at the moment...

Is the Witcher 2 worth checking out for $7.50? Have a pretty solid backlog going right now, but don't want to pass it up if it's worth checking out. Also thinking about Sleeping Dogs for $12.39. Thoughts?

The Witcher 2 is a great game, I played it on 360, must have imo.

Haven't played Puppeteer so I can't compare but Rayman is amazing and you should get it either way if you like platformers.

Haven't played Puppeteer, but Origins is a fantastic platformer with great visuals and gameplay. Definitely worth jumping into for $10.

Love both games for different reasons. Origins is a feel good game with an amazing OST so if you're having a bad day, pop this game in and enjoy.

Dark Souls is one of my favorite games this gen and I've never played Demon's Souls. Love the sense of exploration and overcoming a boss after dying several times. I gifted it to my bro during the Steam sale.

It's one of those games that you'll probably come to enjoy the more you play it. I've invested over 100 hrs into it. It can be frustrating yes and a lot of those hours will come from dying but you can always summon other players if you're having a hard time. It's definitely not a game for everyone though as it pays off if you're patient.

should i buy red dead redemption? i already beat it years ago, but won't have my old save anymore. what say ye? i doubt i'd really play the story again, just screw around, use cheats, maybe play online a little. when i beat it i basically just powered through the story so i didn't really get to experience that extra stuff. worth it or not?

It always confuses me when DLC comes out for games which are old, which nobody bought, and which have no online community at all to speak of.

I'd buy it again, but I can't. Too bad it doesn't allow the option of a redemption code like Steam to have a giveaway. :(

It's the N64 remake, not the 360 launch game. Bots. Glorious bots. :)

The Raven is 9GB! They certainly didn't use that space for character animations, this is some PSone level shit, everyone is so wooden.

So I guess Microsoft have finally just said "fuck it, do what you want" as far as XBLA size restrictions go?

Bit concerning too that the game's page says "full game" when in fact it's just a third of a game. Misleading much?

The Raven is getting a retail disc release in February, remember them saying there would be a season pass via XBLA that would grant a discount for all 3 parts.
Looks like that didn't happen.

I was interested on Raven, but at US$ 30 it is hard to justify at this time of the year, considering the ammount of games to play and new systems.

Will wait for the inevitable sale.

I guess it's worth noting as well that 800MSP has once again been converted at a higher rate. £7.99 instead of £6.75.

Interested in The Raven, but boy has MS really stopped advertising XBLA releases or what, haha. I'll wait for the disc.

Yeah, that happened quite a while ago. What's the other really stupid one? I think that Red Johnson still-pictures-and-some-talking game is like 5GB for absolutely no reason? I want to recall Double Dragon Neon being way larger than it has any right to be too.

No, they just never started doing it. XBLA has been a massive success despite what Microsoft has tried to do to it, not because of it...
