It’s a big week for Activision Blizzard and developer Toys for Bob with ‘Skylanders Giants’ landing at No2. Pokemon Black Version 2 (-59%) and Pokemon White Version 2 (-62%) both slip down the chart to No6 and No9. ‘Resident Evil 6’ (-52%) also drops from No4 to No7 while ‘Borderlands 2’ (-33%) holds on to its No8 spot. Take 2’s’ ‘XCOM: Enemy Unknown ‘ (-55%) moves down from No7 to No10. Bond is back and although he’s not on the big screen just yet Activision’s ‘007 Legends’ debuts outside of the Top 10 at No12. The release of ‘Rocksmith’ (+5%) on PC sees Ubisoft’s title stay at No14.

Unclear, it only ever says "console" not "hardware" in relation to 360 being in the lead and only cites PS3, Wii and Wii U as competitive in that regard. Chart-Track does give a quote that they'll reveal the best selling hardware at year's end, but that's after they refused to comment directly on Microsoft's "best selling console" claim.

I find that interesting, considering the power of the Playstation brand, as evidenced by the continental PS3 performance.

3DS outselling vita about 2:1 in Europe, probably a bit more. Way better then Japan (for Sony that is). Kinda sad these statistics are so old though, a lot has happened.

Wii holding up surprisingly well I have to say. About as well as the other current gen (No! Don't) consoles is unexpected with the Wii U so close.

Curious to know what kind of numbers software is moving compared to the US. Kind of crazy that MW3 on 360 doesn't even rate given it's such a huge selling game and 360 driven.

Problem for Sony (and to a lesser extent Nintendo) is that the 3DS isn't even selling that well outside of Japan anyway.
