For GREE.
Remember that Circle of Mana trademark? Well it was for this... http://www.jp.square-enix.com/seiken_circleofmana/ |

I think "Square Enix announced" + "thing you could conceivably want" + "it's not Eidos" usually implies a social/mobile/browser game, a title that will never be localized, or a sequel you probably didn't ask for.

If a mod does this than who can we trust?

If there's no platform mentioned in the title, you can expect this. It's always browser based or mobile or something of the sort.

I expect the treatment from Square-Enix, I just don't expect you to be the messenger of false hope. :P |

One day we'll have "New Chrono Trigger announced..." and it''ll be for next-gen consoles yet no one will open it because they think it's a GREE game.

Let's be honest: when you end it with periods like that you KNOW it's not news you want. If it was news we'd want, it'd be including a dedicated handheld/console in the title. |

It wouldn't even be that bad if they were actually card games and not shitty pyramid schemes.

Just because you "knew it was coming," doesn't make it any better or less lame.

Are any of them even worth playing? SE makes a ton of these things and I've never heard a good or bad thing about them. I fear for the day the Enix brands start going down this path.
