It's becoming abundantly clear that Nintendo's policy of not revealing future in production titles, no matter how extensive it is, is a complete failure.

Announce compelling software and move heaven and earth to get a robust schedule of games in the next few quarters, or Wii U is in huge trouble worldwide.

Fantasy Life not charting on MC, but did on Famitsu. The game has a download version, but no download cards to buy in stores, what gives?

Vita's drop was expected, Wii U's has surprised me. Hopefully Nintendo understands that there's no more life left in the launch lineup to attract people in droves. They got games in development, it's just a matter of when they want to show them.

I love my Wii U, but GODDAYMN there's some shocking numbers.

I'm sure they'll recover it, at least in these Japanese numbers. They usually pull something out that has a nice sustained sales bump so I'm guessing in the long run, it will at least beat the Gamecube.

The shopping season slows down but Nintendo still owns the Top 5 software and most of the Top 10. I'm a little concerned for Wii U numbers but it's not like Nintendo is giving much of a reason to buy a Wii U in these dead months.

Why do the listings seem so different between the 2 trackers this week? One is missing Fantasy Life, one has much more Ken's Rage 2, and then various games at different places.

Yes, I know about the differences between the 2 trackers, but this week just seems more "off" than usual.

Wii U is in trouble. I wonder if the Wii U is a miscalculation on Nintendo's part or just further proof that Japan is becoming a portable only (3ds only really) gaming country.

I guess when PS4 launches that will be the test.

Either that or when Nintendo decides to let us know what games are coming out for it. That'd be nice...
