I don't think so.for those who live in France, I have heard from many that tanned individuals like myself get a lot of attention...almost seen as exotic. Is this true?

what does France-GAF think of Florence Cassez?
I'm glad we've stopped talking about her.
Honestly, the day she was released, all the news were about her, while we had just entered the war in Mali...
what does France-GAF think of Florence Cassez?
is she seen as guilty over there? 'cause the evidence here pretty much suggests that she was indeed guilty...
She's seen as being more or less innocent and being condemned on trumped up charges/staged arrest.
what does France-GAF think of Florence Cassez?
She's a criminal at worst, naïve at best, and got way more attention than she deserved. The Mexican court did the right thing in freeing her, for the legal procedure was botched, but that doesn't make her an innocent.what does France-GAF think of Florence Cassez?
Spring break maybe? I don't know, I find your country scary: first thing that comes to my mind when I think of Mexico are the drug cartels (and immigration problems with the USA).Also, another question to France-GAF, is there something that "attracts" young French people to Mexico? Every year, tons of university exchange students from France come here, and I've always wondered why

Sarkozy tried to liberate her with little success - all we got was a diplomatic crisis and the cancellation of cultural partnerships. I don't think Hollande cared enough to pressure anyone.lol, that's what I thought... but really, dating a kidnapper and having been recognized by children as being involved in the kidnappings don't make her seem very innocent to me.
But anyways, I don't care much about it either, it just seems like a case where the Mexican government was pressured by France to let her free because she is a good-looking woman when the evidence shows otherwise.
Fun fact : friends of mine are going to Mexico weeks from now.haha, no I'm talking about whole semesters here, for studying, in cities where there's not even beaches. And I also think that that's the impression foreigners get from here so I was curious why so many come here.
edit: double post ffs
One of my colleagues is fond of Mexico, speaks perfect Spanish and the boss for whom she's worked for a year was Mexican, but she's actually Russian, not French.haha, no I'm talking about whole semesters here, for studying, in cities where there's not even beaches. Nice ? Oooooh yeah. The best place on Earth if you are old and racist as fuck : former mayor was JM Le Pen's best friend, the current one is Sarkozy's BF.
I know some people who work at Ankama, I've heard some not great things for the MMO but damn the people who made Wakfu are awesome!
Wiki told me that there's a feature film in the making, to be released no to far in the future.
This is exactly what I expected to happen when I moved here! But it's been 8 years and it hasn't happened. I just know enough to place an order when I get a coffee at a , or go shopping at the market, as long as they don't ask any unexpected questions.
I work for a company filled with hundreds of expats, from all over Europe. We all share similar interests as well, which is how we end up at this company to begin with, so most of us tend to hang out with colleagues even outside of work. And even the friends I made outside of that circle are mostly German or English speaking expats.
I'm just not "among the French" enough to just pick it up from hearing it.

The MMO was full of great ideas but it's a bit of a mess to get into, I hate how everything is so slow though.I've only played the MMO for an hour or so. Was interesting, but hard to get my head around. I really only care about the cartoon series, which is goddamn phenominal!
I too have heard about the feature film. I think I also read somewhere that season 3 will be aired after the movie is released in 2014. I hope it's sooner than that.
Wakfu and movies like Lascars are what made me want to start learning French.
Say isn't it true that French babes don't shave their pits?

this always bothered me since childhood[/QUOTE]
That's what the French say about German or Dutch babes. :P

I can assure you Dutch girls shave their pits (and often also below)
Don't know bout the Germans.
It's a silly stereotype.
Parlement is voting the gay marriage bill right now http://www.lcp.fr/
Any predictions?
Any predictions?
Isn't the senate full of old people though?
God, Mariton's speech was so awful. The bill will not kill family. It's going to change nothing for straight people. It's just about equality.
Taubira's speech was beautifully funny <3
