LOL! Was thinking the exact same thing.Holy shit I think I saw a black person in that second clip.
I'm surprised lol
God. Dammit. I fuckin' hope so. His presence is sorely missed, I really hope he comes back soon :(Edmond is in the movie. That's why he isn't here.
The production diaries are always great, thanks for posting this one, Scully. :) I recall seeing the virtual camera thingie from one of the Avatar special features. It's really neat.Originally Posted by Scullibundo

Edit: From 7:18, you get to see some of the enhancements made to the simulcam that Cameron developed.
Looks as though we now have inadvertent confirmation that Bilbo does put on the Ring at some point during his initial encounter with Smaug - which I know a lot of people were questioning based on the trailers.Originally Posted by Scullibundo

Someone who said they have seen it on the IMDB board answering a bunch of questions (up to you if you believe them or not) said that Bilbo puts the ring on twice. When he first goes in and sees smaug and another time during their encounter. Apparently most of the time during his encounter with Smaug he has it off thoughLooks as though we now have inadvertent confirmation that Bilbo does put on the Ring at some point during his initial encounter with Smaug - which I know a lot of people were questioning based on the trailers.
actually, it does make sense given that laketown's economy is primarily based on trade going up and down the river. jackson could make the case that the town would serve as a hub for merchants from the surrounding lands, leading to a more diverse population than what's been seen in any of the other films.Well Laketown is pretty far east so I'm guessing they'll portray it as more of a multicultural city.
Still totally "spoiler free" over here :3. No clips or soundtrack exept the trailers and that one short clip with Gandalf at Dol Guldur that released ages ago. I totally gobbled everything released for TUJ so feels good to go in relatively fresh this time.I have this weird involuntary reflex where I click on every clip I can even though the first thing my brain tells me when I see one is, "I better not watch this".
You can pretty much guarantee that whatever the heck Jackson makes post-Hobbit trilogy will be shot using Dragons. Shame he put his remake of The Dam Busters on hold :(Originally Posted by Herpes Reasons
thanks, watching that jib move on rails is sexy as fuck.
its a damn shame the timing wasn't right for them to shoot on a RED dragon.
Spielberg seemed pretty optimistic about it still happening last I knew, and Jackson originally said he was going to get the mo-cap done this year - but that likely never happened.Originally Posted by Scullibundo
When's that motherfucker going to start shooting the Tintin sequel. Give it to Spielberg already. Dude's sitting with his thumb up his arse.
