Nothing. When I played on Ver.125, by the time you get 2 million cookies the elder pledge didn't do much to boost my cookies per second.

Anyway, I need more goals. Couple days of casual playing (and shutting off at night) netted me a cool 900000cps.

Well I upgraded everything on the new version. Just need to buy the ridiculously expensive cookies upgrade that don't do much. Considering they require 9.999.999 at least I'm probably done with this. I only make 1.5 mil cookies a sec.

Moved over to the new version. Been working at it and I have 33/39 upgrades. I have four of the +5% cookie upgrades visible so two are still hidden and I don't know how to get them to show. I've got six upgrades purchased for the Cursor (believe the last one hit at purchasing 80 so I kept going to 100 but nothing new shows. Maybe more?). Everything else has three upgrades for it. RIght now I need ~10 billion cookies for the next cookie upgrade. Have three of those and the ~100 billion cookie upgrade waiting.

Anyone get all 39 upgrades? Know what triggers the last two to show?

Also just got over 1m cookies a second so hopefully I'll figure this stuff out soon enough. Wish it had more to it like Candy Farm but I don't mind toying with it in the background.

Oh, and with my middle section sitting on the stats screen I randomly had a cookie phase into view in the big blank section under the stats. I clicked it and it went away. Hmm.

Huh, I only have 32 update + the last 4 cookies ones showing up. I have 3 updates per type of buildings then 5 Cursor ones... Plus the 2 cheapest cookies one. Wonder which one I missed :/

The cookies randomly showing up on on screen shuffles your updates when you have more than 5 of them available at once.

Reminds me of that lollipop gardening game.

If you don't have 80 Cursor purchases yet I'd suggest you buy to that and see if the next cursor upgrade shows up. I have some suspicion the two hidden upgrades for me are hidden behind further cursor purchase walls. I'm now up to 105 Cursor purchases and haven't seen a new one though.

Yeah just noticed that, thanks! Well I'm now up to 120 cursors and no new updates yet so I'm not sure it's that one. Kind of annoyed at wasting cookies on cursors too >.>

According to the Cookie Clicker wiki, the Elder Pledge makes the cursor give 1.5x the number of cookies as you have Cursors per 5 seconds and Grandmas get +0.5 Cookies/5 seconds for each Portal owned. If you have enough Portal to make Elder Pledge give 2000cps, it's probably nothing but a drop in an ocean.

This is V.125 of course, I notice the new version have upgrades that could make Elder Pledge better. But the reason you would buy the Elder Pledge is to remove the flashing grandma background.

There's a 99,999,999,999 Cookie upgrade, but it's already telling me "It's time to stop playing" at around 3 Billion? Mixed messages!

I know that message was in the old version too, but I only saw it after leaving it on overnight. The upgrades didn't exist in that, though, so maybe it was around the same time?

Up to 58.9K cps. This is craziness. Gonna pass out, then buy a bunch of upgrades when I wake up.

The newer version isn't nearly as charming. Without the horrible sprites and hilarious grandma picture it just ain't the same.

Really addicting, but also very CPU heavy - makes it difficult to do some work while playing it in the background

Just did some quick calculations and with my last visible upgrade, the 99 billion cookie upgrade, it'll take about twelve-and-a-half hours at my 2.3m cookies/hour rate I've got going right now. Had it running while playing WoW and at one point it caused Windows to change the graphical settings to something more basic than the Aero look Windows 7 runs in. So I closed the window but have it back open now that I'm just browsing online. Probably let it go while I sleep and then get that upgrade tomorrow. It's so not worth it compared to buying more time machines and such but I really want to have all the upgrades. Getting 160 cursors purchased is ridiculous though. That upgrade will have to wait until the next update to the game, probably.

My sunday afternoon is ruined. Up to 30k cps.

Goddamn this is addictive...

Left it running overnight and woke up to 37 billion cookies.

Sadly my PC went into standby over the night and I lost about 13 hours of cookies.

1.338M/cps, and it's still going to take me forever to get the next 4 cookie upgrades, and that doesn't count the two unspoken for upgrades.

Strongly recommend that people refresh the game. I've been playing on 1.01 and that last screenshot shows there's been updates and they're pretty drastic to differences in numbers. Might want to wait to do so to stock up on time machines and portals first if you can.

Will only try if it has a super hard achievement called Moist As Dudes

Oops, should have paid attention to that last bit. Although I did jump to 23.5 Million CPS, changing the road to 99B upgrade (which there is now another of, and some smaller ones) from 14 hours left to 1 hour.

Edit: Bought the two "cheap" updates, and jumped to 25.5 Million.

I'm at nearly 5million/sec, saving up the 9 billion for the time machine doubling upgrade... why is this game good? I don't understand... click click click...

That was the last thing I was working on. Since getting that upgrade I'm now just adding more and more time machines. Up to ~46 million CPS. Not really anything to do at this point. Just sort of stockpiling while I wait for the next update.
