And then it all crashes and burns. After buying two of the time machine's there was nothing left. These games are kind of weird. Starts out with maddened clicking then eventually your maddened clicking does nothing and your reduced to trying to figure out which structure is going to boost development the fastest. Doesn't mean I won't play for a bit haha.
That's about 39mins at 33m/sec.Just FYI as an idea of where you are going, clicker 161 costs 77 billion cookies.
I'm at 156 now, 157 will cost me 44b... about 20 mins. Somewhere around 10-10:30pm should have it.
This game totally proves we love counters counting up to goals.
I am hollow.
Loving the update though, it looks and plays much better than before. Excited for chievos and dungeons!
Make sure you're playing on Ver. 1.02 or later (I've been on 1.021). Just save and refresh the window. It changes the numbers around quite a bit. Before the refresh I was around 2.78m/s and then it jumped to around ten times that upon refreshing. It'll speed things up considerably.77 billion? T_T I'm only going at 2.6m/s, on cursor 144. Left it running since yesterday and bought the last 99,999,999,999 cookie and a few cursors. This'll take quite a while...

I am a cookie god.
no got nothing to do.. lame.
It costs 500,000,000 and does +10 for each non-cursor purchased for each click of the mouse or cursors. Honestly it's not that big of a deal, especially with how much it's going to cost in cursors to get there. Highlighting shows me that cursors now give me 1.2m CPS and considering I get 27.7m CPS from my 52 time machines that 1.2m from the cursors isn't the largest change.Originally Posted by PogiJones

Just did the math to notice that the highlighted values for CPS don't take into the account the +% bonuses from cookie upgrades. With all upgrades you get 65% more cookies.
All maths considered, with some estimations, If I was to buy my 101st Mine, while having my 160 Cursors, and 65% Cookie bonus, it would take around 9 months to make its cookies back....
Edit: Had 160 Cursors purchased for the upgrade but seems one more was added so the cursor upgrade that was at 160 is now 120 but I had to buy one more (because I was already at 160? Or triggers at 161) for a new upgrade that gives +20 to cursors for each non-cursor item purchased.
Of course they know that, and the completionist in us will get it anyhow, since we can't stare at 40 of 41 or now 40 of 42.

Now what?
Except for your values you'd have had to let it run for weeks to even buy up to where you are. Even for what you have on hand is beyond actually playing and has to be due to editing values.Keep going?
100,172,627,858,800 / 170,059,924 =
589,043 seconds / 60 =
9817 minutes / 60 =
163 hours
That's nearly seven days just to start from zero at the rate you're at (which should be roughly your fastest speed) to get to where you are now. And obviously you wouldn't start from 0 at that rate of increase because you have to work your way up to that and would have had to buy all those upgrades you have showing.
Not like the game is really much of "playing" but it's not as if you "kept going" either. This was more something I simply thought about mathematically more than anything.
Edit: Of course I could have messed up the math somewhere. Sorry if that's the case.
No, I mentioned it (somewhat obliquely) earlier in the thread - I got curious about how the game scales out so started playing with it. I disabled the Spend() function that deducts cookies when you buy, and pumped some cash into the economy to eliminate some of the waiting - this was after I'd hit time machines and had run out of stuff to do, though. I just wanted to see how it handled large numbers :)Originally Posted by Wibblewozzer

EDIT: one thing your math is missing is the fact the cps value has changed around (wildly) with the various updates.
Ah, alright. I couldn't remember who did some editing or not and with skimming I found you talking about getting up to 5m CPS so up to that point I didn't notice you talk about editing the values. No, I mentioned it (somewhat obliquely) earlier in the thread - I got curious about how the game scales out so started playing with it. It definitely needs fleshed out, which I know is coming, because there's little reason to play other than buying all the upgrades or hitting person CPS goals. And once you have all the upgrades it lacks any goal at all. I let it go for awhile and just kept buying portals and time machines but I've had it closed for the last 24 hours and only check it occasionally for updates. I need more cookies!
Edit: I thought about the changing values with the updates but didn't bother addressing it because the biggest change that would have had any impact of making the time shorter was lessening the value of Time Machines by about 20%. But at the same time a lot of things saw huge increases previously from 1.01 to 1.02 so in the end the jump there more than balanced out the decrease that happened during the last update around 1.021 to 1.024.
Thanks to Wario64's Twitter for alerting me on the update.
I refreshed to see if I could get the good verison and i lost all progress...and didn't get the cool looking version.
FUCK.
Welp, not getting these.Achievements
Sacrifice: Reset your game with 1 million cookies.
Oblivion: Reset your game with 1 billion cookies.
From scratch: Reset your game with 1 trillion cookies.
Cheated cookies taste awful: Cheat in some cookies.
Mathematician: Have 1 time machine, 2 portals, 4 alchemy labs, 8 shipments, and so on (128 max). These have to be exact.
Base Ten: Have 10 time machines, 20 portals, 30 alchemy labs, 40 shipments and so on. These have to be exact.
Hold me. :(
Edit: does resetting kill your CPS? D:
If you exported your save in the old version you can import it into the new version until Sept. 1st. It saves info using cookies (lol) so be weary about clearing those as well. If you still get the old version, something's wrong, try using ctrl+f5 to refresh and clear cache (should work in FF and Chrome, at least). Although I think it'd be more fun to start over in the newer version rather than import a save from the old gray one.FUCK

Edit: Also, dem achievements. Damn.
Edit: And now letting it build back up a trillion cookies so I can reset. Ugh.

Not all of them.I didn't have to reset and still got my achievements

So after I did the reset after a trillion cookies to get those three achievements I see that he removed those three achievements along with two others. I then read the site wrong and saw that it said you still get credit for having them if earned before they were removed so I figured I might as well refresh for the newest version but while the achievements still show they don't go towards my milk percentage. So that sucks. Also, since I hadn't bothered selling anything completely missed the idea that the mathematical ones don't have to be earned from a fresh run (the other reason I figured I might as well do a reset) since you can just sell your buildings to get the right numbers in place. Oh well!http://cookieclicker.wikia.com/wiki/Achievements
