Inafune's history since leaving Capcom is not exactly glittered with original ideas that bear no resemblance to other things.Originally Posted by Hours Left
A bit on the nose, don't you think Inafune?
Still looks pretty cool regardless.
16,300 dollars divided by 255 backers =
average of $63 dollars per backer....like a new game, cool.
In for $20.
As long as it's within the 30 days, you can.Can you add more funds later or is it a one time one tier donation. I want to donate enought for the signed art book but might only be able to go as high as the retro box art.
It was great fun, but ZXA wasn't a megaman game. Capcom can't expect all mega man fans to buy into all aspects of the franchise. The core games sold well, if the extensions don't....stop making the extensions.Originally Posted by ShockingAlberto

Looks good. I'm down for this for sure!

The majority of the hardcore crowd that wants to play a game like this will have moved on. It's already not going to have much visibility by the very nature of being an indie title.. Would've been smarter to go with PS4/XB1 while the platforms are young. They're especially catering to the hardcore and the competition pool is much smaller.Originally Posted by Mihael Mello Keehl

I love all the information they put out, and hope for the best. Maybe someone can make a "Mighty No. X" super boss for the New Game +, if they can reach that goal.

Plz
Yeah, but it seems like there are a lot of professionals on the payroll though.Originally Posted by Jawmuncher

So backed.
It's japan. Development costs are ridiculous over there.Originally Posted by Jawmuncher

Sucks that console ports are sitting at 2.5 million. Which makes little sense considering the X1/PS4 will be out by then. But I'm guessing that may be the hidden ??? stretch goal before it though.
People easily paid more than that for Mega Man Powered Up, which was just a remake of Mega Man 1.
Welp Megafans, here's your chance.
The stretch goal for console versions is a bit out there, I think. We'll see.
Time for mega man fans to put up or shut up.
Regardless, I'm in for $60. Quite possibly the most thoroughly interesting kickstarter I've read.
If you dont know what shit costs, thats your problem.Originally Posted by Warren Ellis
well of course i want another 2d side-scroller by inafune and the more kickstarters from japanese game designers the better... but they really need to sort their shit and be more efficent like western indie developers...almost a milion dollar and a release date of 2015 for a 2d side-scroller? really ?
