At3 isn't turn based. I prefer what we had in At2 more. At3's battle system would be something along the line of "bad Star Ocean" if you ask me. I ground through the game because everything that's not the battle system. This one sounds promising, though.Sounds very similar to Ar Tonelico III (Qoga) battle system actually.
On the other hand, I'm kinda worry that GUST has been working non-stop recently. Hopefully the game won't have rush feeling in it.

Despite some pretty atrocious production values, I quite enjoyed Qoga. Ciel no Surge didn't look appealing at all, but I would give this a shot.

Since ciel no surge was a vita game i'm extremely disappointed there's no vita version, i guess i have to wait for the expanded edition :P

Pretty excited about this one. More games in the Ar Tonelico setting is always a good thing. Seems like Ion will be in this as well, so that's pretty spiffy.
I am really excited for this. I absolutely adore the Ar Tonelico series and truly hope that this gets localized. I would even buy a Collector's Edition if they made one.

Hopefully it'll be better than Qoga. Qoga was ok, but between the characters not clicking with me, and the stripping for more power, it didn't make for the best of experiences...
I still liked AT3 even though it wasn't as good as the first two, hopefully this'll be localized at one point.
Hymnos! ! ! Hope diving is back too. . . I guess considering how indepth it was in Ciel no Surge, maybe it's along those levels? It looks like the battle system is more like AT2 too. While purging and the battle system was a disappointment, the writing and music was still absolutely outstanding in AT3.
Looks like I need to chug away at AT1-3 again. (I have all 3 don't know why I cant make myself play them :p)
I'm really considering digging out my PS2 and finally playing AT1. . . My first AT game was 2. I never got around to 1 since 2 was supposedly such a major gameplay improvement ala neptunia ->mk2. But then again, I finished AT3 and that was inferior to 2 XD

I said I was not really fond of the character design in the game, but the art work make them look much better. Its just that the in-game model fails to capture the aura of the art. Its fine though, not like I was expecting otherwise.

I don't mind it, although yeah NAGI's artwork was fantastic.
On a different note, almost done with my Ar Tonelico 1 playthru. 35 hours . . . And wow, I really hate myself for having ignored this game thinking it'd be so dated after playing Ar Tonelico 2. I've enjoyed the battle system a lot actually despite.
