My 6850 am cry.
I'm planning on replacing my 6850 soon lol.
Now that I think about it I should probably OC my 3570k as well.

I've got a quad core intel Core i5-3570K @ 4.2Ghz and 8Gb of Crucial Ballistic ram.
I've also got a GTX 560 1Gb. I'm not buying a new graphics card unless I really have to.
you really have to
Shit like like Mantle couldn't have come at a better time. The price of these cards aren't matching the results at this point. There are guys with 780's that can't even be guaranteed 60 frames on BF4 beta. If you can't get 60 frames maxed while investing over 600 dollars in one piece of hardware this early on in the gen and it being one of the newest released pieces of graphics architecture out...
yea
I just built a 660ti/3570k computer last October and I'm already feeling inferior.
Yeah I think most people are going to want 4GB or more VRAM from now on for DEM TEXTURES.
There are no 8 cores... At least from intel. Only 8 threaded cpu's. I have a CPU with 12 threads and 6 cores. Wasn't aware of 8 cores yet? But I don't follow amd CPUs.
Jaguar is a laughably weak CPU.
I built my PC 4 years ago, and my CPU and memory is still more than ready.Yeesh. Just built my PC last Christmas, and it's going to struggle with stuff already...

Wowzers. These are cross-gen titles and already it seems like there's a sudden jump.
I wonder if requirements will plateau as next-gen exclusive games become more common place or if we'll see such a wide range from one end of the gen to the other as with the last.
That's completely irrelevant to my post, the point is the game is developed with code that scales well across 8 cores, this is a good thing for PC Gamers, you finally get to play games that are using all of your CPU, rather than having idle cores during gaming.
Wait I have a 3770k ivy bridge and it's only four cores, not eight.
To be fair, Watch Dogs was the first game besides Star Wars 1313 that was obviously next gen. I don't know if we've even seen the current gen version yet. That said, games are obviously only going to get crazier from here on out.

About this 8 core thing in the title:
Isn't this a bit of a red herring considering that one of the example "Ultra" configurations listed isn't actually an 8 core CPU?

So is the PC version of this game going to look a fair bit better then the Xbox One and PS4 versions?
I'm confused, will my i7 3820 be enough CPU wise?
