Everyone misses Bobby. It was so wonderful to see him in the season premiere though.

As for Garth, I was hoping they would have done an episode with him and human Cas hunting together.

Damn that episode was great. Even though the Lucifer theory didn't seem to pan out, it was definitely an all around solid episode. I've been tired of the angels and demon storyline for a long time but this season has found a way to make the tiring subject feel a bit fresh again.

The hiatus for this show is going to be really rough. I'm ready for the next episode, NOW!

Has anyone notcied that when Angels die they no longer have their wings on the ground next to their body?

Back in seasons 4 and 5 only a few Angels died and back then it was a pretty big deal whenever that happened but now in season 9 with Angels dying all the time its like they either forgot about that effect or just retconned it?

I was wrong!

It seems they could resist!

Fuck you writers for Kevin though!

Man, I'm bummed. I really liked Kevin. Why does Charlie continue to love when the good ones keep dying?

Either lack of money, or they explain it away that they lost their wings in the fall. Even though we saw the wing shadows this year when Zeke/Sam/Gadreel took out all those demons.

It'd be hysterical to see, of all people, Crowley to be the one to off Metatron.

Really solid episode tonight, I liked the twist with the reveal of who was actually in Sam. Angels going to war! Though why anyone would join a lunatic is questionable.
Cas steals a grace so that might give him a way to have powers even if only semi working.
Poor Kevin, got to feel bad for the guy, his death caught me as yeah expected Dean to be the target but Kevin makes sense as a prophet. Wonder which of the people we saw a season or two ago got the job?

My mind has shifted to the idea that they need to break Lucifer and Michael out of the cage to fight the angels and stop Metatron now. Still gives us the End eventually. But at the same time, I don't think the brothers are dumb enough to spring Lucifer.

ALTHOUGH, what if it's really Lucifer in Sam just pretending to be Gadreel, simply to fool Metatron into trusting him and letting him into his confidence? Maybe Metatron's spell pulled all angels to Earth, no matter where they were, and being ripped form the cage seriously weakened him. Luci now realizes that his only way into heaven is through the one angel who brought it all down, Metatron, thus the ruse and disguise.

As far Gadriel, Metatron says he is the one who let the serpent into Eden. What if it wasnt an accident? What if Gadriel was Lucifers accomplice and is using Metatron hoping he finds a way to let Lucifer outta the cage?

The scene with Sam, Dean and Cas in the bar was adorable. As was Cas praying in various positions. :)
