Guys, maybe we could put a credit to Burning North's Flickr thread in the OP, as in all honesty, he's the guy that started this whole thing. Maybe not here on GAF, but certainly via his own tumblr, which he took to Flickr, and DeadEndThrills, and then it sort of spiraled out of control here.
Also, credit aside, erryboday should definitely take a look-see at his Flickr, because he knows what he's doing.

Yeah, but that game is kinda designed that way so you don't have to focus much on stuff, do something like that on an action game, you'll puke your brain out trying to comprehend what's going on.

I pulled some older shots from my archives and gave them some love. Despite them being originally a little lower res and jpg, I think they came out okay.

I'd be interested to see what exactly this does to pixelish 2d game screens. Or a game like Dust:AET.

Yeah because we've had another big screenshot thread where they aren't allowed. So a rule that confirms they are allowed bothers your delicate senses? Like seriously. Why not contribute instead of complaining.

I thought this thread was going to be people running screenshots through instagram filters...

The hyper-deatiled to simplified ones look the best IMO. I used to play around with a watercolour/cel shading effect in photoshop without a plugin for photos....wonder how they would look on screenshots
