I'll download it tomorrow!Haha, that looks really fun!
Just a reminder, this should launch in Europe at midnight today (if all goes well).

I'll be purchasing two Fit Meters for me and my GF tomorrow and start my fitness routine. I need to get my basic fitness back until the 18th, as by then I'll start my new job and need to be fit for that.
I wonder if this will automatically download if enough space is available.
Well, they're doing with Wii Sports, they're probably gonna do it for Wii Fit U too... then again, the game IS coming out as a packaged title, so not sure.same here (beside the new job).

By the way, received that little thing today (box is quite small) :
Now I just need an actual balance board, and, oh, the game itself :p
Looks like they just completely reskinned the PokéWalker. Which is funny, but really smart, didn't that thing have a very high level of accuracy with its measurements?Well, they're doing with Wii Sports, they're probably gonna do it for Wii Fit U too... then again, the game IS coming out as a packaged title, so not sure.

So they removed the pokemans and added advance features
Its so complicated i decided for a new save file
ALSO, anyone knows if the dogs are kept on WiiFitU?
Not sure, the Fit Meter is actually slightly smaller, so I guess the insides aren't the same. There's more data with the Fit Meter (like altitude, that wasn't in the original PokéWalker), so I don't think they just reskinned the thing.Originally Posted by RobotHaus

That's not THAT complicated.Read somewhere the steps to transfer the save game from Wii Fit to Wii Fit U

Basically, all you gotta do is transfer your save data from the Wii.Copy the save data from the Wii Data Management section onto an SD card (card must have at least 512MB of space)
Move the SD card to the Wii U
Put the Wii Fit/Wii Fit Plus disc into the Wii U
Go into Wii mode on Wii U
Copy the save data to Wii U within Wii mode
Data can then be extracted from the Wii once you get Wii Fit U
The price of the Fit Meter here in Denmark is 300kr (or $60!!) which is ridiculous. Now I know prices are higher here in Denmark (a game costs ~$70), but I thought the whole idea of downloading the software free and buying the Fit Meter was to present a cheaper method of getting Wii Fit U.
Guess I'll have to ordre from UK, where the meter costs around half the price.

doesnt look like you can use it until you synch it with the game
I imagine you can still use it, they're just going to keep giving you tips on how to correct your center of balance. I imagine you'd be fine for exercises and stuff.Originally Posted by wuxian fengguang

I mean the cloud white face or more human flesh coloured?
I have no idea if this would work but I guess you could try wearing a small weight on your other leg?Originally Posted by wuxian fengguang

Smash 4 trainer is from Wii Fit and Wii Fit Plus.Originally Posted by Smiles and Cries

Why not amazon.de? Doesn't deliver in DK?Originally Posted by Metroid Killer

It should be, all the Wii U 1st party games were.Is it really going to be up at midnight? Because if so then I totally would be up for some midnight fitness sessions :)
I commute to work by bike so I will be very interested to see how it interprets that activity. I really hope it doesn't ignore it as it ignores car travel.
You're anticipating an awfully quick download! Reggie did say it's a 'beefy' game. Isn't the midnight download best for setting it up and having it ready in the morning? (I haven't downloaded any 'retail' games, so I don't really know how long it takes). Is it really going to be up at midnight? Depends. I don't actually think Nintendo does that large games. Even 3-4GB has a chance of going rather quickly. You're anticipating an awfully quick download! Reggie did say it's a 'beefy' game. You could say it's a beefy game but it's more like Wii U Basic harddrive is small.
Slightly cheaper at amazon.de, but then you have to pay for shipping(which is free in amazon.co.uk), and delivery time is 7-21 days, compared to 3-7 days from uk. Anyway I ordered it.Originally Posted by KingSnake

Funny how this game totally snuck up on me. I was traveling and missed the Wii Fit U direct and never bothered to look it up, then this thread pops up and suddenly it's FREE game in a couple of days! Sweet :p
ARE
ON
THEIR
WAY!
Well according to this poster here:Well, technically I'm sure you can use it. What would be stopping you from taking some walks and accumulating data?

Just Amazon who shipped it a bit early. They do that for every new game, but I forgot, since I switched to full digital a few months ago. How'd you get yours a day early?
Actually, you can't. I tried to turn it on, and there was an animation on the screen that asked me to activate it through IR. But since the actual game isn't out yet, you can't do that. I doubt it starts accumulating data before it's initialised.Well, technically I'm sure you can use it. What would be stopping you from taking some walks and accumulating data?
Dunno. I don't think they've detailed the activities in the game, short of the Nintendo Direct and a few videos released here and there.Originally Posted by firehawk12

Yeah, the last direct was all about the meter. I'm hoping if nothing else, I can use it as a weight tracker with just the gamepad.Dunno. I don't think they've detailed the activities in the game, short of the Nintendo Direct and a few videos released here and there.
Oh, does the meter have a belt clip on the back of it?
It does, yes!Oh, does the meter have a belt clip on the back of it?
Ah, okay. That's a shame. It would be cool if they let you use it before syncing.Just Amazon who shipped it a bit early. They do that for every new game, but I forgot, since I switched to full digital a few months ago.

Really frustraiting.
So I'll have to import. Good job as usual Nintendo AU. *rolleyes*
I can't imagine it supporting several profiles. The idea is to have it on you all the time. That's how Fitness Trackers work.Originally Posted by The Horror the horror
