I had a friend who was a wuss about turning down requests, but didn't want to be FB friends with all the people from her past. So she did the old porn star name trick (first pet, street you grew up on) and FB locked her account after a couple or years. She tried to appeal to no avail.
I want to do this for PS4 streaming and screen shots, but I don't want to lose my account at some point.
If they think you're not a real account they'll give you some capcha stuff to log back in.Originally Posted by platypotamus
Wait, what is this quiz, banned from facebook?
Simple right?
That is until they present you with a series of random pictures and prompt you to identify your "friends" in each one based on 4-6 options.
Clever. Everyone in this thread, the guy with no picture or any other information at all or any posts or anything is Platy PotamusOriginally Posted by PalaceBrother

And I assume they just saw a bunch of Marvel: Puzzle Quest avatars and didn't know who the hell anyone was.
So is this widespread? Are there any precautions we should be taking? I've accepted everyone's friend request from GAF, and I've added some "recommended friends" (basically anyone who had a M:PQ avatar). I'm wondering if there's a way to avoid this banning. I might even consider making some nonsensical status updates every now and then.
If this does become an issue, then we can also amend the first post and create a database of people + their [i]unique[/u] avatar, so anyone who gets flagged would just have to look in this thread to match up the profile pics. That's only if there's a need for that, which so far it doesn't seem like.
I did not get presented with any M:PQ avatars. There were a few people who signed up with real accounts so I just guessed who they were based on the perceived ethnicity of their photo / name.Originally Posted by Mike Works
So a few people in the Marvel: Puzzle Quest thread mentioned their accounts got banned (by Facebook). Basically it asked them some "are you a robot" questions, which they answered successfully, but then it asked them to identify their friends via their friends' profile pictures.

I dont know how to get the shorter URL but that will work. I hate FB and dont have a real one but I have been wanting a Dr Doom Avatar. I have added most people in OP but I have noticed some have been removed.
