But I think that was probably Snow's aim lol.
Bring back bad influence and gamesmaster!
Can't wait to watch this, Brooker, Lees writing and a bunch of other great guests. I'll be watching on delay tho, the mrs wants a night watching a horror with a take away tonight .
It seems like the perfect thing for a Twitch stream. If I had the tools I'd do it, but hopefully someone else will. Try and look into how to watch UK streams if you really want it, I hear it's simple. Otherwise it'll hit the torrent sites and Youtube in no time. Will this be watchable on the internet outside of the UK?
Incidentally my PS4 box is in my hands (wrapped in John Lewis bag), on the way home now. Tonight's gonna be a good night.
YES! Gamesmaster was awesome, I would watch it all the time as a kid, loved it!I'm surprised how the been has gotten away with no games show as it has to cover all the arts.

Easy: there's literally no-one in power at the Beeb who will argue for games as art, and everyone knowledgeable and influential enough to make the argument will just get their shows made elsewhere anyway (Brooker), or satisfy themselves with some other project (Wossy).I'm surprised how the been has gotten away with no games show as it has to cover all the arts.
There's also the very real reality than unlike films, music or the other traditional arts, it's been proven again and again that a weekly televised magazine format about video games just doesn't work, and people don't want it; they'll just stick to YouTube shows and the like.
Basically no-one on either side gives a shit.
Ah BitsHahah I never had sky but caught some of that man....
Bits was always a plus on c4 late night tho.

Emily Booth....
I don't recall them having a coin collecting game. Pretty sure they used to end the show with a face off on whatever game they were featuring that week.Originally Posted by Phil0sophy
Gamezville was awesome as well, I am confused though, was it gamezville that had the coin collecting game at the end?
I'm thinking of gamesworld on sky one, but yeah gamezville was awesome as well.Originally Posted by Miles Quaritch

Agreed that was bloody awful haha, the intro was the coolest bit about it, true 90's nostalgia right there, but the actual show and the content was just terrible.Originally Posted by Beelzebubs
I'm actually glad that nobody fondly reminisced about "Movies, Games and Videos" that show was atrocious.
Cara Ellison (RPS, Guardian) and Jon Blyth (OXM UK, Flipside, former IGN), too.Matt Lees is writing

That's funny because all I watch is American tv shows and I mostly hate what we produce on our networks, its just crap like x-factor etcSounds good, it's on in an hour right? I really do think that you brits have some of the best television programming around.
Give me son's of anarchy and walking dead anyday of the week.
Well, I think they complement each other very well :DOriginally Posted by Phil0sophy

Plus, as far as video game programming goes, this kind of stuff is leagues ahead of anything on American television.
Really? I am actually quite surprised by that, I thought that you guys would have had quite a few good gaming shows on cable?Well, I think they complement each other very well :D
