Funnily enough, RE1-3 and the Spyro trilogy are the NSTC versions, why they didn't do something similar with the FF games is beyond me.Yeah I know all about the PAL FF games, thanks.
Sadly they were all bought on my EU account and that's what I'll be using on my Vita.
I wish Sony/Square Enix would go ahead and update them to their 60Hz equivalents, it wouldn't hurt anybody.
as far as plain ol retail.... noTearaway and Ys this month? Two retail games... to go digital or physical...?
Any cool packins with either Physical release?
but Ys has a sweet silver anniversary edition with -
"Includes a 3-CD collection of music spanning the history of the franchise, cloth map detailing the lands of Celceta, logo-emblazoned compass, Adol's Travel Journal containing adventuring strategies and artwork, all within exclusive commemorative package"
you should add a bit about vitaTV too in the import section...Added the release dates of some digital titles to the OP. Thanks to Black Lagoon for providing me with them.
He also brought my attention to this tweet from XSEED saying Ys may still slip to December, but I will leave it as the 26th for now.
Also excited about the fact that I just got a shipping notice for my 64GB. Can't wait to have more games on my Vita, and I'm really looking forward to getting some more PSM games.
Oh, and just in case anyone was wondering: OMG HD Zombies might be the worst game on the Vita. I'm still writing my review of it, but I honestly can't think of anything worse.
I tried the Japanese Ys demo last week. The awesome music alone sold me on the game. Gonna get the limited edition for sure (with 3 disc soundtrack? fuck yes)
I pulled the release date from some news sites, but apparently they've been using the pending one from sites retailers like Amazon. I'll update it when we get official confirmation stating otherwise.Wait what? Ys has an official NA release date? Since when?

While I agree that PS plus does promote less sales I also think it's a good incentive for someone to buy into the Vita hardware.Originally Posted by corrosivefrost
Not killing it for Vita owners who supported those games by buying them when they released. But for those people who slept on the quality games, apparently you have been rewarded. :P
Which reminds me, I need to DL all of the Souls Sacrifice DLC. Haven't played it since I beat it at launch.
The ultimate insult!B-But I didn't use any of the files you sent me...they were just references! D:
it's a game where you play as a schoolgirl ninja with oversized breasts and you try to hit other schoolgirl ninjas with oversized breasts and their clothes fall off and you can buy panties in a lottery and it is definitely not in english and it's awesomeOriginally Posted by jon bones

Yeah I was referring to the yearly games, just a matter of phrasing as I thought, I thought that the yearly games were the entire "Instant Game Collection"Originally Posted by corrosivefrost
Soul Sacrifice and Oddworld are the PS+ games added to the IGC for November.
So I'm not sure what you're asking here. The bolded part is right.
There is a decent chance 3 more games will be announced as the "yearly" Vita titles should cycle outward in November.

why don't these games come to america so i can play them :(
also why don't these creepy japanese games also feature big booties in addition to giant breasts :( :(
So I have a PS+ subscription for a while now and I have downloaded many games, like NFS:MW, DD:DA, MGR etc. But i've never booted them up, just downloaded and installed. Now I have automatic downloads turned on (and yes, the game patches option is also enabled). Last week I played all these games for the first time (some games downloaded months before), but upon booting up these games, they all needed to be updated with patches.
So how does this automatic download work? Does it check my trophy list? Does it check for the save games? It sure doesn't only check my gamefolders or otherwise it would've downloaded the patches.
Almost bought it a number of times, but I didn't have time to play it.
I still need to finish P4G though.
If you buy a game and a patch already exists, the latest patch is downloaded at the same time as the game, but the patch is only installed when you actually start the game. Can someone please answer this? While not really aboiut the Vita, it is a feature that concerns the Vita too.

And there is a invisible log of games played. They check the 30 latest ones (or something like that). At least on PS3, but I think it is the same on the Vita.
Yea, I'll get Tearaway too.
Do you really need big booties when you got those sweet sweet battle transformations?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f0xO1M_XL1sOriginally Posted by jon bones

I am considering it but I've had a good fill of a few hundred hours of MH4 just recently. If the vita version does multiplayer well through adhoc party I might (´・ω・`)Originally Posted by ATXAlchemy

I don't think this is true though. Because when I booted up NFS:MW, it had to download a 2GB patch. Actually for all the games I booted up a patch needed to be downloaded. If you buy a game and a patch already exists, the latest patch is downloaded at the same time as the game, but the patch is only installed when you actually start the game.

A cool and useful feature, but unfortunately it never worked for me and Sony also never explained how it actually works.
There's always Valhalla Knights 3. Besides, there's still a decent chance that XSEED might eventually localize the Vita version since the 3DS game is already in the works.Originally Posted by jon bones

It's not in English, but it's not hard to find your way around either. I've managed fine, although the story is totally lost on me.Originally Posted by Monosukoi

I guess I'll have to do this, yeah. A lot of times I'll just go by screens and if the rating is like 3.5 or higher, I feel okay taking a chance without a demo, but I haven't yet. I'm ready to jump in, though.Don't worry man - every purchase helps! Maybe try some demos and see what takes your fancy? I'm sat on like £60 of PSN credit but can't pull the trigger on games either - I want Muramasa, Dragon's Crown and Persona 4 but the 2 formers don't have demos so...
Nope, don't have + yet. I've got $14.99 sitting in my wallet and I've been debating using it on more retro stuff, heh.Originally Posted by heckmanimation

Are you sure? It's all over the net if you google it. But here are some links:I have NFSMW and I never downloaded a 2GB patch.

is there an easy way to play this on my Vita? can i download it digitally or something? vgny doesn't have any copies in stock and i don't feel like going to brooklyn in the rain :/
Well, there we have it.Originally Posted by SmokyDave

If a guy with his liver removed and his bowels unplugged and his nostrils raped can play Senran Kagura, So Can You!™
Going digital would require you to switch accounts to a Japanese one. It's far easier to just import a physical copy.Originally Posted by jon bones

Play-Asia is a good starting point.
Well, it's been a long time since I played, but I'm positive sure that I didn't downloaded 2GB. My memory card should warned me. But I notice that if you don't have the necessary space for the DL, they don't warn you of the patches. Are you sure? It's all over the net if you google it. But here are some links:

can i buy a 4gb card cheap, make a jp psn acct on it and dl the game there?
I think there might be some truth to that. I downloaded SFXT from PS+ on my PS3, and then transferred on my Vita. I noticed it copied a 39mb file prior to copying the game. No idea what it was about. I thought it was an update to content manager at first, but maybe not. But i never got asked to patch the game to the latest 1.08 version when i booted it on the Vita and it sure was already running that version.Well, it's been a long time since I played, but I'm positive sure that I didn't downloaded 2GB. Ever since I read that post I've been dreaming of it. I don't much care about Tales or FF type 0 (I'm kind of over PSP visuals). Gimme DQ VIII!From last months thread in case some ppl didn't catch this:

If you don't have a Japanese credit card though you'll have to fill up with PSN cards. Closest increment is a 10,000 yen card or you can combine a 1,000 yen and 5,000 yen card, but will get you less per dollar at those increments.
