I think it's around 6,000 yen (60$). But I'm not sure if you can use an american credit card on the jp store. You might have to import a jp psn card, and at that point you might as well just get the physical copy.Originally Posted by jon bones
thats not so bad... anyone know how much the game costs on the jp psn store?
this all sounds like a giant pain in the assAbout 6000 yen
If you don't have a Japanese credit card though you'll have to fill up with PSN cards. Closest increment is a 10,000 yen card or you can combine a 1,000 yen and 5,000 yen card, but will get you less per dollar at those increments.
i just need to buy this in nyc right now ughhhh
If you've gone this long without knowing about it, what's another week or two? With a physical copy you'll be able to play it on your US account without formatting/using a second memory card and still get trophies to boot.Originally Posted by jon bones

went in my local GAME and saw Everybody's Golf (Hot Shots is the same game I believe) I can buy it for £6.99 on the store but for a preowned retail copy it was £27.99. Plus the choice of retail games was actually quite poor I think they had 5 new games on the shelf and 5 preowned.
Is anyone else seeing the same thing or is it an isolated incident?
I am vaguely interested in this game.
This was your mistake.Having just bought a Vita I'm shocked at how poorly priced the retail games are (in the UK anyway)

Pretty sure this clown is getting a copy and will no doubt post impressions about it.So who's going to import Akiba's Trip 2?

You should be interested.

you're a good bro, broBro, Xseed, next year, bro.
If you want it right now, H&L on Chinatown have this game, I went there last month, but be prepared to spend $75
did xseed announce it or are we just guessing?
Looking at the calendar made me realize the last game I'll be buying for myself this year is Tearaway lol. I have to save my money for others since the holidays is near.
I'll be importing.So who's going to import Akiba's Trip 2?

You should have went for the 64gb instead. I just bought the Vita and my 32gb is almost full. Granted I downloaded every demo and free to play :pOriginally Posted by RadarScope1
Just used my my $50 eBay coupon to score a 32gb card for $15. Got several games to play thanks to PS+ and some sales. Just need to damn Vita. Five weeks til Black Friday....
Unless there isn't a 64gb card on Ebay.
Eh. I'll trade up if I get there. I'm going to be playing a lot of indie and PS1 games, alongside a few bigger Vita games. I'll split that last category between digital PS+ offerings and a few retail games here and there. I won't be gaming outside my home very much. This is a way to game on the couch and in bed when time allows, so my PS3 won't ever be far if I need to remove or install a game.Originally Posted by killatopak

I can't decide. I prefer being all digital until someone posts a huge physical collection, and then I get pangs of regret. That said, I went digital largely because I was sick of seeing shelves full of video games. The grass is always greener...Originally Posted by suppadoopa

it's always nice to have a pretty shelf to look at
Can't say no to Tearaway for £20 on release.
Good for you. My PS3 got broken and I got the YLOD that's why the 64gb is more appealing to me. I dunno how to fix it so its there on my TV collecting dust.Originally Posted by RadarScope1

I just hope we don't get in February FFX / X-2, Toukiden and Borderlands (if it's good, if it isn't good they can release it when they want). A January, February, March (and May for SS Delta) would be an awesome first half of the year.Toukiden is confirmed for February 14, 2014 release in Europe.
We actually culled our entire physical library. Pulled the CDs out of the boxes and tossed the boxes.Originally Posted by SmokyDave

Now all of our games are contained within a CD sleeve book.
But I can't do that with Vita games, because Carts (especially these ones) are completely impossible to keep quite like that.
will buy HM2
Hehe I did that with my PS2 games too. I wish someone would make a PS Vita case or something. We actually culled our entire physical library. Pulled the CDs out of the boxes and tossed the boxes.

Don't forget about FFX! Unless you plan to go physical only with that one.Hellooo VitaBros.
I am getting a Vita for Christmas and wanted some advice on physical/digital.
How big of a memory card am I going to need? I want to fill it with at least Final Fantasy I to IX.
Games like Tearaway I want a physical copy of because I think the artwork is lovely.
Obviously I'm a Plus member so have dozens of Vita games already ready to go.
Btw. The PSX FF games run faster on the US account. Perhaps you should consider that account if you plan to play them.
Not happening. Ys is a third party game and hasn't even been released. Even more so, the PSP Ys games not only have never been on Plus, but they have never even gotten a discount (in the US store at least).Slightly sour that Soul Sacrifice is going to PS+ considering that I dropped $40 on it only to end up getting sucked in all over again by P4G.
Now I'm slightly afraid the same will happen with Ys. >_>
774 MBHow big is Ys Celestia on JPN PSN?
From the blog:RAINBOW MOON VITA - DECEMBER 3

Regarding cross buy, we’re still aiming for a 50% discount for PS3 gamers. It’s already requested, but still not confirmed by Sony. I’d like to think that this will be confirmed soon.
FFX and X-2 I will pick up physically if they come out as carts in the UK.Originally Posted by AmanoBuff

Double-dipping with them as I'm also getting the PS3 version.
I hope XII eventually comes to :)
