Hey, guys. Don't really want to bump the thread, but I got an update on my order that's... pretty weird.
I checked my Paypal account to see if a refund was being processed, but there was nothing there, so I went to Walmart's site to see the order. At this point, I noticed something rather strange:
The monitors still said "shipped".
I could not have clicked the tracking link any faster, and like it said on Monday, my order had been sent back to sender, no biggie. Then I looked at Tuesday. Apparently, my screens arrived again to the Fedex building, and on Wednesday, the package left the facility.
So... I have no idea what's going on. The tracking page says that the package will arrive on Friday, which seems impossible. I... I think I gotta believe.

So my smaller misc. orders are supposed to arrive today; I've never gotten tracking info for the tracking numbers given, but their status on Walmart never changed from shipped and I never got a refund, I don't believe.

Actually got Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon. The only 3DS game of the 6 I ordered that I received. Not bad, since its the only one I was going to purchase one way or another at some point. I guess my Pokemon virginity will have to be taken some other time....

It wasn't so much a "Damn him!" as a "Damn me!" for waiting so long/seeing it too late. I had just barely missed out on the best deals. The image was a harsh reminder of what could have been.Why didn't you want to see it? Isn't it cool that this dude got an awesome deal?

I actually went into a store today and picked up my order (an underwhelming Jensen bookshelf stereo I ordered for my sister-in-law as a Christmas gift). It is the only item I actually managed to receive out of a total three items spread across two orders. The other two were cancelled last week.
Anecdotally, a colleague of my wife was apparently able to pick up the same stereo from the same Walmart. It's also the only item he received, though he ordered far more things than I did on that fateful Wednesday last week.

ya know, sometimes you just gotta go all out. good thing i didn't get 36 monitors.. wouldn't know where to put em haha. for real though, i'm pretty sure i got the monitors due to how early i ordered them. 3-4 hours before the majority of people, to be exact.

My car stereo whose order was canceled (I even got the 10 gift card) has apparently been sitting at my local Walmart for pick up for a week. I'll see if I can actually get it tomorrow. No biggie in if I cant, I already made 600$ off that TV I got from them.

Personally, I think there was no "real" way to getting your items. I got my video game guides and I did the free shipping option. And there have been reports here that people received their ship to home orders when they did the free shipping option while the orders that were placed using 2-Day shipping were canceled.

So I contacted UPS after my last packages (books) didn't arrive. The tracking numbers weren't in their system, at all. They literally don't exist.
The order is still marked as shipped on Walmart, and I never got refunded.
I emailed Walmart support asking how my packages could have tacking numbers that don't exist, and where my packages were. They quickly responded with am apology and are escalating the issue to find out what the hell happened.
