EDIT:It's there now, me filthy liar.
what kind of demo is it? Japan got like 4 of them I believe. Is it one of theirs, or something new? or maybe a combination of them?
Does this mean the demo has a side story not included in the full game? You can experience a unique side story in the Bravely Default demo, available from Nintendo eShop now. Collect items to take forth into the main quest, plus view special content by downloading and printing out these Bravely Default AR Cards.
You skip "Default" a turn you pile up your "Bravely" meter which you can max to 3, you get 1 per time you Default, when you rack it up it allows you to let your character attack 3 times in a row.Originally Posted by Artemisia
Someone download it and explain how the brave/default system actually enhances gameplay. I mean, why not just attack twice instead of skipping a turn?
If you choose to Bravely without any stock it will go to minus, ie. -3, and for 3 turns your character can do nothing. This is negated by Defaulting so you have stocks to attack, what's more Bravely meters carry through to the next battle, so if you finish in the negative, you can't take an action till it turns back to 0.
Do regular actions use the bravely meter, or is it only used when you attack more than once?Originally Posted by Samurai_Heart

Also - demo has English voiceover only. May God have mercy on us all.
Can't wait to play BD for the first time! :)
When's the UK release date again?
So it is kind of like Chrono Cross? Or did I completely fail to understand...Originally Posted by Samurai_Heart

Not sure from what I read will confirm via demo but I don't believe it does, also a note that enemies can also Bravely and Default as well.Originally Posted by Artemisia

Yes it was mentioned on the DirectDid they mention the demo was going up during the Direct? I missed it if so.

How is it?
It's was tempting me to get a 3DS alongside the other games shown.
The following can be transferred from the demo to the full game:
Friends (not including guests)
Norende Village residents (up to 20) [Streetpasses]
Play bonuses
There are 7 play bonuses
One of them is:
Caldislan Relief Set [Just for playing the demo]
Antidote x 2
Eye Drops x2
Echo Herbs x2
edit: don't get me wrong, I love the art-style, it just washes out a bit too much on the XL for my taste. may have played too much on my vita lately.
