It's really unfortunate. I was with two friends who will be picking up Xbox Ones but haven't ever played Forza games before. They enjoyed the driving but were underwhelmed by the visuals, and I think it would have been completely different were we driving on a Prague lap, or Alps lap, or anything, really.

Speaking of RWB kits in Forza, has there been any word on customization yet? Will they finally add new wheels/body panels? Oh I sure hope so!!

Okay, I've orded the Limited Edition. I've dabbled in Forza, but this will be the first time I'm committing to sinking my teeth into it.

Those are photo mode shots, with the effects and models turned up to 11. You can take photos like that in the game, but the actual racing gameplay doesn't quite reach those levels. Still, with the scenery and cars rushing past you, you really don't notice.

I want to say that the VIP is only available in the limited edition, but in the past they have made VIP a download you could purchase later on.

Although now that I think about it that might have just been for Forza 3. Not sure if they did it for Forza 4.

As of Forza Motorsport 5, unicorn cars are a thing of the past. We don’t have a list of cars that we are holding back – cars that you can only get by doing something specific in game – yet we will still be able to gift cars to the community.

also, cars are cheaper and you get bigger boosts in credit gains from upping difficulty and turning off assists.

GT40 looks identical to the FM4 model as far as I can tell

It seems like they changed the car token system. I played all the other Forza games and can't remember a car that cost 70 €.

There is nothing wrong with this at all, I can't believe so many of you are having a hissy fit over it.

If you think that playing races and working through the career in such a game as Forza is "grinding" then you are playing the wrong game. Take each corner as it comes, be patient.

The idea that some cars are worth more car tokens than others is perfectly reasonable. These type of games have an internal economy, some cars are worth more than others. Just play the game, enjoy it, and eventually you'll earn the more expensive cars. That's how it works.

Yes it might be expensive if you want to buy enough car tokens to get the F1 car in career mode. But what kind of idiot would want to do that anyway? You may as well watch a movie if you don't want to interact with the gameplay model. Unless T10 comes out and says - this car isn't in the game and you have to pay €70 to get it - then it's a fuss over nothing.

That's a great, great shame. Can't MS use the power of the cloud to archive the old forum? All those thousands of posts form a huge chunk of the history and development of Forza Motorsport. Losing that forever would be terrible, and anyway - deleting history should never be an appropriate course of action, especially in the digital age where storage isn't even physical.

I was upset when the old Bizarre Creations forums were shut down but someone managed to archive a lot of the content before access was finally denied.
