How do you get on the same team as your friends? Do you have to be in a PSN party or what?

Seems like there's no party system within the game.

There are definitely party systems. It works great in KZ:SF but it's not in Bf4 for some idiotic reason.

BF4 wasn't fit for release on any platform it seems. Shameful.

Yeah Killzone is perfect, BF4 is a mess. Pointless to not have it integrated into Battlelog either now that it's live through the touch pad. There's invites to missions but not partys...

I totally thought I was missing something with not being able to play with friends. I joined a buddy of mine in TDM last night and teams were not always full but I never could manage to get on his team. After about an hour he quit and played something else completely because his team lost every round he was trying to flip to me as well. Hope this gets fixed...

Haven't tried MP yet today but I know stinking PSN store is dead can't redeem this premium pass.

There are cross game parties, but BF4 ps4 doesn't have a party system(ala call of duty) and the friends playing list in game is broken. So does it have a party system on ps4 for it?

No it doesn't. Because I felt that pain when my single player data was corrupted. The campaign isn't even worth a re-try.

I am not one to support litigation, but it seems like the only way to get companies like EA to respond to valid issues is to threaten with a class action lawsuit. Especially if you have no recourse, such as returning the game for a refund. There should be some protection for consumers who spend money on a product that literally does not function as intended.

Oh I also had my single player save data corrupted twice. I replayed the first mission 3 times.

I can't stay in the game. Same error code and bounced to the PS4 UI.

I hate that I spent $60 on this. I feel like we all lost a lot of launch weekend fun due to this turdly effort.

Oh, and for the reviewers that dogged Knack and praised BF4, FUCK YOU.

all you have to do is talk to the BF4 PC players to know that is a bunch of bullshit...the 1.5 update was just a convenient scapegoat for EA to point at.

I didn't realize only conquest was broken. I've been trying all day to get in, and just press conquest because it's at the top of the list.

I guess I'm going to be playing some rush...

With the caveat that well means you'll get through a full game a good 60% of the time. Obliteration was fun. Got through a whole ten minutes before the server collapsed.

I also haven't had much luck getting into Conquest games. I have been able to get into Obliteration and TDM games without too much issue, though.

Fuck this is the type of game they should have allowed player hosted servers. Damn it EA, bring back P2P or actually spend money on the servers you need.

Rush is hard to find and crap as well. Seems like the small domination and deathmatch modes are the only ones that are working ok. Really disappointing.

Anyone else get game freezing when pressing the PS button in BF4 (or KZ for that matter)... will go to check party then come back to either game and shit is frozen... press all buttons and nothing happens. Only the PS button and share button register.

Everytime I'm playing multiplayer and then try to quit back to the menu the game crashes to the XMB (is it still called that?). Really annoying.

try reinstalling worked for me.

Remember when they said they strongly considered delaying the game?? Well now it makes sense why. The game isnt ready and they just decided to still push it out.

Domination has been running perfectly for me all day besides one crash when a map was loading. I can wait a day or two for Conquest.

Nevermind. I can officially put my foot in my mouth. I got booted to the dash 5 minutes after I told you reinstalling worked. God I wish I went physical KIllzone and digital battlefield instead of vice versa.

In general the PS4 is PC as f&$@. Error logs. Change logs. Crashes.

While I sound negative, I actually think its a great system right now. A lot of stuff works and we have a lot more to look forward to.

That post was taken down. I'm not sure what the story is now. PC version is also fubar and there was no patch blamed for that.

On the Xbox 360, when I played Battlefield 4 online, I never needed an Origin account (from what I know). Trying to do the same on the PS4 now, it won't let me do anything without making one.

Is that really the case? Or could it be due to whatever issues the game is having?

Same. And to play with friends, join them from the first multiplayer page.

As a PC Player, I got 99 problems but a 64 player multiplayer server aint o- Battlefield 4 has stopped working.

32 man Team Deathmatch or smaller is the only thing I've been able to do without problems so far

Agreed. This game should not have been released in this state. I'm afraid to play the single player because I can lose all my save data, and the major game mode that people play isn't working. So basically, I bought a brand new game that I can barely play because it's so broken.

Glad to know I'm not the only one.

Hey guys, I can't even get this damn game to start. It goes to a blue crash screen every single time at the main menu. Not sure what to do. Going to delete the game install and try again.

When I did that it fixed it for a bit but I've gotten like 15 errors in a row on the main menu now.
