It's the best "anime that shouldn't be good" ever. I started out writing it off on premise alone and then it became on of my favorite things ever. I'm not seeing it drop dead amazing but, it's kind like the definition of a sleeper hit.How's the anime? I haven't had a chance to watch it yet.

This is a great anime, seriously. Don't try to judge it based on the artwork, it's more like a sport anime than a moecrapfanservice anime. In fact, the fanservice is non-existant, the characters are great.

Hm I wonder what the last game based off an anime was that was really and not just interactive merchandise. A lot have potential but I guess effort put in is minimal.

I hope this will sufficiently scratch my tactical & milsim itch. I want to get into supremely autismal details about the angle of impact and armor numbers and shell calibers and the various tank types and their advantages and shortcomings IRL and all that jazz. Basically, World of Tanks but instead as a strategy game at the tactical level.
The only proper way to get ready to play the game when it comes out.

I have a Maus in World of Tanks and heavily question the finale of Girls und Panzer. I've found in training rooms that the Hetzer is too tall for the ramp on the front of it to fit under the tracks on the Maus. I also question how a 15-ton tank can support half of the weight of a 190-ton beast like the Maus, and how a tank as tiny as the Japanese one they use could possibly stop the motor responsible for rotating the 50-ton turret on the Maus. However, I suppose this is a conversation for another time....

Awesome news! I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the series. Definitely would recommend if you like tanks at all. I found it to be super charming.

Never had any interest in this series, but I'd be interested in this game adaptation if it plays anything like WoT (lack of MP would still be ok). It would be kind of nice to have a game like that on the go.

I'll be keeping an eye on if the Maus is a playable vehicle. It's my favorite tank ever built; it's just a shame that the show displayed the crew of the thing (and to a somewhat lesser shame, had them talk), because faceless steel monstrosities are always intimidating antagonists. Once you show a human character as being behind it, it gives the audience something they can connect to and theoretically reason with. I personally prefer the unfeeling sort of antagonist, but I guess the producers of the show were more interested in comedic value.
