Just out of interest, for those that have the 3G model, how much does it enhance your usability/accessibility/enjoyment of the system compared to if you just had the wifi version?

Basically, would I regret getting the wifi model?

I've had the 3G model since launch. The slot for the sim has been empty since I activated it to get Wipeout 2048 for free. So, speaking from personal experience, unless you don't have a smartphone with a decent data plan, I don't think it's worth getting the 3G model over the Wi-Fi one.

Also the 3G can't even be used for online play. Only for browsing and PSN use has a filesize limit.

Better and faster to just use a phone as a router, as demonstrated by Americans using LTE/4G to Remote Play their PS4s.

Got this deal myself a couple of weeks ago. It is a really good deal though the game selection is pretty poor; it includes a couple of PSP games. I'd say the tearaway bundle is better!

I've got the 3G model and not used the 3G at all. You need a dim card and can't really justify putting one in when the wifi is all I really need.

Yeh I kinda guessed it would become a redundant feature. I'm not even out and about for enough time to use it properly anyway, just want one for remote play really. But then as always there's a gremlin in the back of my mind telling me I need the most feature complete model of everything.

I had the same thought it my head for launch. There really is little advantage to having the most feature complete model in this case.

Wondering this, too. Judging from the side of the packaging, Tearaway seems to be physical. I'd give Tearaway a try, but I'm not really interested in another LittleBigPlanet.

Tempted by this. If it goes lower, it can't be by much...

I'm generally the same, but I sold my 3G model and picked up a wifi only and haven't missed it at all (I have unlimited data + tethering on my phone though, which helps). I'd only pick up the 3G version if there's a deal/price that makes it cheaper, but these current wifi bundles are amazing.

Thinking about it, if they can sell the Vita+Tearaway+LBP+16GB card for £140 they should have totally offered an official PS4 Vita bundle to meet the Xbox One price point. I would have jumped at that.
