Earlier today Sony detected a potential problem involving a very small number of SEN accounts (including mine) and made it so to login you would need to do a password reset. Just a heads up if anyone is having problems logining in tonight

It happened to me too.
I wondered what was up. I was worried at first, since I thought someone had breached my account and changed my password (you know, one of those FIFA Ultimate Team hacks), though when I reset it and got back in everything seemed normal.

How small is this number? I had to do it too.
I had this happen last year. I called up support to make sure. She saw my account and went "Wow". Apparently something was up with mine.
Phoned them earlier (UK) they said the same thing. Nothing to worry about.

Anecdotally though, this time last night I picked up blood dragon no issue, and not 10 minutes later my pre-order for tearaway was rejected on the grounds that my Card was expired (it wasn't), It took a call to the bank today to unblock it.
Clearly I need more foil.

I had to ring up support and try to change it that way cause I didn't have access to the email I used anymore. Turned out I used a fake Date of Birth because I wasn't 18 and have now had to email them with pictures of my driving license to prove my identity. They said it should be solved by Monday *fingers crossed*

My account had been acting odd for a while actually, I would get signed out of the online store at random intervals with a message stating that the sign in had failed. Hopefully this password change will solve that particular issue for me.

OK, I got it sorted out. Forgot I used the date of birth of a family member because I was panicking. Man, a hacked account would have been the biggest clusterfuck possible... phew.

Jesus, so I'm not the only one. Almost panicked when my Vita didn't want to accept my password.
This got me this morning. Changed my password okay, but bloody hell Sony it got me worried.
My problem was just a server issue.

This is what i did and i found it. Thanks =)Found my PSN fake DOB without contacting Sony. If you ever signed up to Mubi (the film service thing), it logs your PSN DOB under its profile settings. Load the website up and log in, go on social and click on your profile. You should be able to find your birthday on there :)

I got it too. How small do they claim the number off affected accounts were..? Seems like quite a few actually.

Happened to me earlier last week. I can't log in even when I use the correct password. US PSN member here.
Had the same right now and could login with a new password.
This has happened to me on the VIta. :(
Just spent half an hour guessing my fake DOB. Problem solved but ugh.
oh for fucks sake, i have no idea what my fake dob is; not to mention I don't have access to the email I use to login to PSN; because Yahoo decided one day that I needed to answer security questions from about 10 years ago.
