^ Exactly. The BF ads are all out already, there really aren't any Vita games in them, let alone one as niche as this. If you want the game don't let BF be your reason for waiting, especially if you want the SE.

Holy crap. I forgot I pre-ordered this. It was supposed to come out on November 5th, then got delayed. With everything else coming out this month, I completely forget about it. Just checked ebgames and it's coming on Tuesday. Yes! The only bad thing is it's coming out the same day my copy of Zelda is supposed to arrive.

thanks for reminding me. I had the LE ordered at amazon and I cancelled it. Moved it to gamestop instead because fuck amazon on LE for games. Stop sending LE games in bubble mailers amazon.

I don't know if I agree with this. It's simply another telling of the Ys 4 events, done in a really different way. I can see the sequel angle just because the characters all seem to know Adol but he doesn't remember them, but the stuff they remember isn't from the other Ys 4s either.

i hope they don't ship the game to you in a bubble mailer. Multiple LE of mine have been damage because of it. Basically fuck amazon and newegg for LEs that can fit in a bubble mailer.

they will. i got ACIV, Tearaway, and SMB3DW in a bubble envelope. but how they expect to fit it in there? i got to contact them later and demand a real box lol. KH1.5 am cry.

Vita TV only works with Japanese PSN accounts right now, and there's no guarantee that the cart version of this game will have the Vita TV patch that the JP version got built in. Would be nice though, since I grabbed a Vita TV.

Mine still says they can't tell me a delivery estimate yet, I've sent them an email. It's starting to piss me off.

Also, I sort of hope this game is shorter than Ys 7. 7 started to really overstay its welcome and was waaaay too long for its own good.

This game is so good (I played through the JP version). Really happy for you guys who get to play it for the first time next week. It's still probably the best Vita exclusive released thus far.

My Amazon Silver Anniversary preorder is also set for 11/27 with one day shipping. But I forgot about their bubble mailer bullshit. I'd best preorder at my local Gamestop to be on the safe side.

Oh, of course! That wasn't meant as a sleight in any way. More just as a source of hype for the LE, which I'm SO PSYCHED for people to get. Hell, I helped put the thing together, and even I can't wait to get my own non-office copy so I can ogle it in the comfort of my own home! ;)

The only Ys game I haven't played is origins. It looks great, wonder why it never made it to the Vita.

The generally accepted rumor (which is only a rumor, to be fair, but does seem to be supported by Japanese reviews and message board comments) is that the game didn't do particularly well in Japan due to the lack of Adol. Ys fans overseas (oversYs?) are nuts about the ol' red-haired adventurer, and they were NOT happy to play an Ys game without him!

Man, that's exactly what I was thinking. If pictures were shown I'd have made a point of avoiding them in favor of seeing the real deal for myself when I pick it up.

I'm expecting 30 myself. That's usually the case with JRPGs and Tales battles aside I expect to be pleasantly surprised with 60 at best. Not unless it's sub-native resolution FOR 60 FPS, but I doubt that. Going to be weird to have whiplash between this and Zelda, heh.
