How do you share loot? Do you swap parts? I thought all the pieces were unviseral and not randomly generated? Somebody explain this for me lol.

If I understand correctly, when you find a box, you can either take the random item in the box or swap it for one your friends found there instead. I have diamond in one of the later chapters. I believe it was in a cave where you had a maze that would glow green if you tried to move out-of-bounds. I think it was past Chapter 10.

Easy way to earn gems I found. I unlocked all of the Knacks (minus the diamond knack) and I didnt even play the actual game...
1. Download Knacks Quest app for iOS, i think Android has it too.... link it to your PSN ID. It will remember this link even when you delete the app.
2. Play only the first few rounds when the cap is low... Cap starts at 20,000 points to earn a prize. Play the first level a few times til your cap reaches like 60,000 or so.
3. Delete the game, and redownload it from the app store. It deletes all your saved game data BUT still keeps your gem info that has been pushed to your PSN account.
4. Repeat
I earned all my gems ( no diamonds ever ) and all the gadgets except for one.
I'm replaying the game now to earn the stupid diamonds and try to get the part for that one gadget. I think its the secret room gadget I'm missing one piece.

Once you get really good, you can earn like 175,000 to 200,000 on the very first level with the 20,000 cap so it just unlocks a crapload at a time.
