At this point it's pretty difficult to argue against TaeJa being the best player in the world, period. All he needs is a GSL championship and maybe a BlizzCon championship and it'll be impossible to argue. He's been incredibly solid since the beginning of summer. This marks his 5th premier tournament win in the past 5 months. Pretty insane. It looks like the Summer of TaeJa Part 2 isn't slowing down this time around.

Huuuuuge upset. Nip were by far the favourites going in to this. Brilliant play by fnatic. They deserve the win.

Verygames was actually favored along with NIP and Astana Dragons. But Complexity shocked everyone and made it to the semi's and Fnatic took it home.

Damn, us fighting game people got 20k for the SF4 stream at Dreamhack. Which is a typical "good" number for us, but man does it feel tiny compared to those games. At least our GF's was hype as shit. You're welcome back to the FGC thread anytime you want to comeback Yoshi :p

Wait, really? I thought even Quake got 30-40k peaking. Which is great for a 14 year old game but not much compared to what's popular. It's strange to see SF lower than that.
But then again, it's mainly a PC event and fighters are more console-based I guess...

I have to say that game 1 of Life vs Taeja in the finals was the best one. So back and forth on Frost.

I just wish we had seen some more variance in the builds in the final. Over a 7 game series it would've been nice. Still, was a great final match.
