Starting on Nov 28th, you can follow the epic journey of your favorite Pokémon Trainer, Ash, in Pokémon: BW Rival Destinies on Nintendo eShop! Ten episodes from Pokémon: BW Rival Destinies, the Pokémon animated series, will be released on Nov 28th and then five more episodes will be released every week until Dec. 26, so be sure to visit the Nintendo eShop every Thursday to see what new adventures await Ash and his friends!

Episodes 1-10: Available 11/28 - 1/4
Episodes 11-15: Available 12/5 - 1/4
Episodes 16-20: Available 12/12 - 1/4
Episodes 21-25: Available 12/19 - 1/4
Episodes 26-30: Available 12/26 - 1/4

Not sure yet whether they're to be downloaded or just streamed like Japan has in the past (It did the Mewtwo prologue episode, and then the first episode of XY and the first episode of Pokémon Origins).

They just say eShop too, so could be both 3DS and Wii U.

I would have preferred them do a Pokémon TV App, but this is a good start.

Release the X &Y series on 3DS and I'll get those. BW was garbage.

Wait so they're streamed via the eShop when we have Nintendo Video (which "The misadventures of Link" series is on*).

In the past they used the Nintendo zone viewer to stream Pokemon episodes so I guess it is consistent. Plus Nintendo video seems to have like <5 min playtime per clip so an episode ends up as like 4 parts (meaning there can be nothing else for that week on Nintendo Video). Plus Pokemon company letting us keep Pokemon episodes, sacrilege.

*-Which it looks like I've missed episode 1 (as it was replaced with a re-re-re-re-run of Shaun the Sheep). I'll have to Youtube that I suppose.

Really Nintendo should do a... Nintendo TV. No, not that one I can't access on my Wii U dashboard since a year.

Between anime episodes like vintage Mario & Zelda, and more recently Pokémon and Kirby, Nintendo Directs, trailers... I think they have enough content now. They also have good working relationships with youtube and Fuji TV. This can be a good new vector for marketing and com. And better than those 4-10 rotating videos inside shitty apps I hate (Kirby channel, Nintendo video on 3DS, etc).

Yeah I agree, it would be nice if they had done a separate Pokemon TV app.

I know that, you realise who I am, right?

I meant a Pokémon TV app for the 3DS and Wii U.

I just looked this up on YouTube.

Yeah, this certainly won't make people open up that useless video app.

I would have been more interested if they were Origins.

I read the thread title and thought it was Origins. Then saw the number of episodes and thought it was the original series.

Nostalgia am cry.

So this is basically Pokemon TV for 3DS/WiiU? Wonder what took them so long that they released them on iOS/Android first.

I agree one billion percent. It would be great for fans to watch Pokemon episodes on their Wii U instead of their tablet.

There should be a club Nintendo app on both systems too.
