On my local mesage board, the PS4 preorder thread was at nearly 400 pages whereas the X1 thread was at about 60. Ireland has always been Sonyland tho, I read somewhere that as a country Ireland was second only to Japan for Playstations/Population or household or something

I think it depends on how much consoles they have. They're launching on so many countries, with such a huge momentum, at "only" 400 bucks. I think they can easily move between 1 and 2 million units.

I was at that store when they did that Vita pre launch sale. There were 200 people max and the lines were insane. I can only imagine how bad a line of 1000 people is.

I remember going to this store in berlin in 2000 - first time I saw an actual ps2! It was before the release. Good times. Massive flagship store.
