And with the couple of extra weeks now in NA, including Black Friday shopping, it actually seems conceivable that the next sell-through announcement Sony makes after this weekend is for something like 2.5M sold worldwide.
It'll be intersting to see if Microsoft will release another set of sales figures before the mandatory quarterly report...Originally Posted by shinra-bansho
Given sufficient supply, EU should match the million+ for NA at least.

.People lining up on Thanksgiving instead of spending time with their family. Brits need to learn to prioritize.

I am not European, but I am 99% sure thanksgiving is not a thing for them.
You need to get a map.
1. This is Germany
2. No one here celebrates Thanksgiving. It's Thursday.

Looks like learning Geography wasn't your priority, heh ;)
You should get a tag if you can fool this many people at once.
I think traditionally all three have release some Black Friday PR.It'll be intersting to see if Microsoft will release another set of sales figures before the mandatory quarterly report...
I'm expecting radio silence on the Wii U, but some touting of likely good 3DS numbers.
SCEA will probably focus exclusively on the PS4, since the PS3's numbers probably won't be fantastic and lol Vita.
Curious about what Microsoft's will be like though, maybe some talk of both the 360 and XB1, maybe a US XB1 LTD.
Damn, that's a lot of people. But next time turn your phone sideways please...Originally Posted by Milchmann

Do yourself a favour son and read up on what exactly your North American holiday represents.People lining up on Thanksgiving instead of spending time with their family. Brits need to learn to prioritize.
They have already guaranteed at least 900 consoles. They have 1000+ PS4s at a single store?
Translation:Aktuell gibt es auf Facebook fast 900 Zusagen zum Event. Könnt ihr denn tatsächlich 900 Konsolen garantieren?
Ja.
Nearly 900 people on facebook said they will come. Can you really guarantee 900 consoles?
Yes

They won't say how many they actually have though.
woah, when is the store opening?Originally Posted by Milchmann

I'm honestly expecting them to be somewhere near 2.5m once this weekend is done WW what with the EU launch and Black Friday/Cyber Monday which we know some US retailers have been holding back stock for.
In the UK at least the PS4 will have sold more by Monday than the WiiU has in it's entirety here.
They will make a total sales if the number is good, but they'll also want to highlight tomorrow's number, plus possibly a few key markets - especially if eg the UK can beat the record for a console launchOriginally Posted by shinra-bansho

They also gonna start selling them in half an hour I believe.
why would anyone wait till Thanksgiving to do that?People lining up on Thanksgiving instead of spending time with their family. Brits need to learn to prioritize.
I like that people cook today, but really it's just another day, I spend as much time with my family as possible, no Holiday's necessary.
Seems like there will be more than 1000... going to be a crazy day.To those wondering why there are so many consoles in one store, this is basically the official German launch event, so not just one random store. Some people came from all over Germany to take part in it. They said everybody who comes will get one, I guess they weren't expecting more than 1000 because supposodly they only have 1000 units ^^
They also gonna start selling them in half an hour I believe.
For those unfortunate to receive a faulty PS4, because there will be some no matter how good the product is, can we all try to behave with dignity, and give Sony a reasonable chance to replace it? Same with PSN, it's going to be hit hard for a few days.
Really disappointed with some of both Sony and MS fans after the previous launches these last couple of weeks. These are really, really big launches, and even a modest failure rate means thousands of units to be replaced, as the worst time of the year for post is just starting.
Really sucks, but some understanding please.
