Ah so if I restore twice, it doesn't matter because the entire memory card is wiped? Decided to just keep the data for my old 'main' card because I had PSP and PS1 saves on it too (don't see a way to backup to +).

Just back it up on your PC or PS3 via content manager.

Fingers crossed that Cloudberry Kingdom Vita is getting a stealth release by the end of the month. I really wish they wouldn't be so silent about it. Just picked up Ys and might get 1&2, its the only one I don't have digitally. Also might pick up Tearaway, since you all are raving about it so much. When is the discount for Rayman Legends going on PSN? Is it already there, is it better then origins?

This may seem like dumb question but I'll ask anyway: For the JP Release of FFX-X2 HD will it be dual language support? I might pick it up out here.

If you have no way to play P3 FES, then go for P3P. The only bad things are that they replaced the anime cutscenes with ingame ones (which for me looks weird) and the navigation outside of Tartarus is "point-to-click" on a prerendered backgrounds. For some that's a good thing, but for me it kinda breaks the immersion.

The discount is already live. Arguably Legends is better than Origins but has less content.

Unless it's like the international version then I don't see it having dual language support. It might be when there is an Asian release because those typically feature dual Language stuff.

Finally got around to beating Tearaway. I think I was holding it off because subconsciously I didn't want it to end. Such a beautiful game though.

I almost forgot to buy Ys 7. Fellow Vitabros, which Ys game do you recommend to start with: Oath or 7?

Can I get Spyro and Crash from the EU store to play on Vita?

I didn't know if this was common knowledge, but Gamestop has P4G brand new for only $20. It's where I picked up my copy.

Yes you can.
Sadly neither games are Vita compatible for US accounts atm.

Note that the most PSX PAL games are 50 Hz with some not being optimized like Square's PSX games. The RE games are 60 Hz however as they are the NTSC versions.

No and yes. If you have a PS3, you can download it to your ps3 and transfer it to your Vita. However, you cannot purchase it and download it to your vita without the use of a PS3 as a middle man. These games are not on the Vita's PSN. A lot of other PS1 classics other, but games such as Metal Gear Solid, Crash, Silent Hill, and other popular PS1 titles are not on the vita store for seemingly no reason. You can download the Little Mermaid though.

7 is very close to Memories of Celceta's gameplay while Oath in Felghana features a more skill based gameplay.

And my fears were true. The boss startup animation is unskipable in the vanilla game. Guess will have to tough it out. I am scared to update the game. What if the DLC shows up!

I'm glad I got the platinum before the patch then. It would probably be a huge pain to finish the time-restricted Forgotten Pacts with all of the attack nerfs. Did you trying pressing start to skip the boss intro animation?

Yes After some time I tried the start button and it did work! I was so used to touch screen though! Now have to redo the whole game lol! U have a PM btw!

Double dipped last night and It just feels right on the Vita! Looks great! Only gripe are that auto platforming levels. Hope PS3 controls get patched in. Never gonna happen Tweeted the rayman page though.

The Vita does have PSO2 already for your online needs. I'd be more interested in a PSV localization, to be honest.

Well, people who want to play online has Phantasy Star Online 2 on Vita. People who want to play offline will have Phantasy Star Nova. I suppose SEGA won't add online multiplayer to the later because they don't want people to migrate from the former (which is F2P)

I guess it isn't for me. The only allure of PSO is to play online to me. If they are making an offline PS game, I wish they would go back to their roots. Of course, I am probably just being super bitchy about it and once I start seeing more on it, maybe I will get more excited. A Vita exclusive Phantasy Star V would be awesome though.

Now that I have played Don't Starve, I think it'll be a great addition to the Vita if it is ever ported. The devs have expressed some interest on the platform and that's good enough for me. Hopefully, they can release it next year.

No, they're really not. Not for me at least. They give me something to work for now that I've been chasing them for 6 or so years. I loved the combat in P4G, even if I was getting worried that I wouldn't end up with enough lines for the Risette trophy... but it was like a puzzle. My brain was more engaged because I was constantly trying to figure out a way to exploit the current encounter to get new lines. Once it popped, I became bored with the combat and just wanted to move everything forward... it lost some of it's appeal because that extra dimension that was challenging/engaging was suddenly gone.
