Now that I have played Don't Starve, I think it'll be a great addition to the Vita if it is ever ported. The devs have expressed some interest on the platform and that's good enough for me. Hopefully, they can release it next year.
I'll start. Tearaway is the worst ga...damn...I can't do it.
retro city rampage is like 62mb though :POriginally Posted by heckmanimation
awww mannnn - i finally hit my 32gb limit with killzone merc :(

RCR is a good decision to delete, but sadly, will gain you basically no space.
hahaha yeaaah i know :)retro city rampage is like 62mb though :P
this is just giving me an excuse to delete it, rather than thinking i'll play it some day and keep it on...
So far I've not done a single mission in the game just grab coffee to go fast and head down to the mushroom shop for the video effects :) for 62mb I'll keep it...Ninja Gaiden may be next to go for me, too challenging for me to bother with most of the time but I do like having the option..decisions decisonsOriginally Posted by heckmanimation

It's worth sticking with IMO, great port of a great game (NG, not RCR). I know that won't factor a single iota into your decision, but damnit, I still feel the need to say it.So far I've not done a single mission in the game just grab coffee to go fast and head down to the mushroom shop for the video effects :) for 62mb I'll keep it...Ninja Gaiden may be next to go for me, too challenging for me to bother with most of the time but I do like having the option..decisions decisons
I was really enjoying it until I got to a challenge section on the airship and just couldn't do it. Lost my save when transferring as well...I want to get back to it, I know it's a very good game...I just also know I likely won't for months. It's worth sticking with IMO, great port of a great game (NG, not RCR). (2) Delete RCR for sure.
(3) Finish some games then delete them (like Dokuro).
(4) Leave the SS Demo bubble on your Vita, start up the SS retail bubble, import, ????, profit. Once that's done, you can delete the SS Demo bubble and get some space back too.
It still shouldn't be on his card. :Pretro city rampage is like 62mb though :P
I agree with this whole-heartedly...RCR is a good decision to delete, but sadly, will gain you basically no space.
And disagree with the bold. It's worth sticking with IMO, great port of a great game (NG, not RCR). I know that won't factor a single iota into your decision, but damnit, I still feel the need to say it.
It is an acceptable port of a great game plagued by issues with framerate, first and foremost (it can't even manage to keep a solid 30, which is a problem before we even get to how halving the speed of the game from the original is detrimental to the gameplay experience). Combine with some terrible bow mechanics and you're not a good anything. :P
It does look pretty though, since they went with native res over performance. :lol
Play on a lower difficulty, or, y'know, don't do the challenge. :PI was really enjoying it until I got to a challenge section on the airship and just couldn't do it. That's a shame, Terarria will be a non-purchase for me then. Even $10 would be too much, I think, I'd bite for $8 or less, but I have it on PC...
Guess it really does look like my remaining $42 will be covered by Stick it to the Man and Ys.
I couldn't stomach playing it long enough to answer the spoiler. I like retro things. I like the old GTA games. I did NOT like this.Originally Posted by Novocaine

Maybe it had something to do with GAF hyping the hell out of it prior to release -- but I thought it was going to be fantastic. I even went out of my way to procure some PSN cards while I was on vacation the week it came out.
I proceeded to download the demo and play it, ready to drop that $15 on it immediately. And I couldn't get more than 10 minutes in before I thought "this is terrible, I'm not giving them money for this." and promptly deleted it.
FEEL MY PAIN!!!!It's weird... I really wanted to do it...and lower difficulty? pshh
Deleting a 62mb on a 32GB is a bit harsh but he did get it through ps+, fair enough.
Btw you ruined malicious rebirth for me, I didn't notice the input lag much at all (I was basically used to it) but going back now it's pretty painful especially in comparison to the hub world. Going to leave it for a little while to try and see if I can come back to it later.
Also, when I first started Tearaway, I found myself disabling the made-up language and I had to re-shape Iota's features a bit. Luckily I managed to break free of those annoyances with Tearaway pretty quickly but it was odd how just from hearing you talk about it they were sticking out as issues for me too.
(Sorry man, didn't mean to ruin it for you.)
If it makes you feel any better, once I adjusted to the play speed, with the slowdown and such, I was able to play it through at least.
I even went back afterwards and played through the original on PS3. That final boss battle (from the core Malicious) is much harder in the PS3 version for some reason.
And about Tearaway... hahaaha... apparently I'm influential.
I found that my main grievance with Iota/Atoi was their faces, though I still wasn't a fan of the hugely disproportionate heads.
But the amount of time you're looking at them while playing is thankfully minimal. I just wish I had the creativity (or maybe I wish the tools were better) to customize the messenger in the ways people are doing over in the Tearaway OT. It was hard for me to figure out what I wanted to cut from the construction paper without having the character in front of me so I could work and shape accordingly.
The voices, however -- I heard about 4 dialogue boxes worth (the first person that talks to you) and immediately recalled how much I hate that noise. I turned them off and never looked back. mM should be commended for putting that in though (supporting that was worth my $30 alone), as it has ruined other games for me (Okami, for example... and Capcom couldn't even manage to put an option in to turn that stuff off when they put out the HD port. I'm still pissy about that.)

It's pretty bad. I had more fun listening to its chiptunes and marvelling at the authenticity of its art style than playing it.Originally Posted by Novocaine

I think the worst part is the humour. Humour is a tough thing to get right, so it's no wonder most games avoid it.

That's why they say ignorance is bliss. Basically just play the game first if you've bought it and restrict yourself from anything other people say. There's a reason why you shouldn't readily believe a single review. It's because most likely it is biased a little bit. A lot of people had fun with XIII but it was plagued with bad reviews. I hit the 32 GB limit on a regular basis. I keep thinking that I should delete P4G so that I can get 3+ GB back, but my Vita wouldn't feel the same without that bubble. :(Originally Posted by heckmanimation

I'm jealous of what NA gets, especially sorcery saga :(
Am i the only one who see a sort of a muscular body on the title?
Merry fucking christmas
So Fifa 14 is the first deal...
How good are the Fifa games on the Vita in regards to gameplay?
Yes, you can.
I have 13. Game is easily the best portable soccer game ever. Pretty amazing how good it is. That being said its missing a lot from the improvements made past 12. Its Pretty much FIFA 12 I think.Fifa14, eyh?
Merry fucking christmas
I REALLY like the touch screen shooting though. Is that on the PS4 version with the touch pad? Cause it should be.

Because if we're lucky we may just get this soon XoX.

Damn. Right into my veins. I hope it'll look like that on Vita and run well.GAF I want you to envision this game on your Vita's OLED:

Now I'm playing Stranger's Wrath. Framerate is a bit iffy but the game is fun. Visuals held up nicely.
Also playing Guacamelee (awesome) and VLR. Not too shabby amount of Vita playtime.
Got an Android smartphone? There's a PSP emulator and some games can look gorgeous with it. Ys Oath in Felghana looks and runs amazing in HD and AA on my Galaxy S4.Originally Posted by YianGaruga

I only recently remembered to check the thread I posted and its locked. I was gonna bring up how the Japanese ver. of Powered up is alredy on the JPN PSN store and to ask them for any assistance in getting the English ver. up among other things.
If you don't own it you should really buy it.
I think there's also a nice PC emulator by now but i) I want to play on the Vita and ii) the legality is questionably since I only have a copy from PSN. I'm totally fine with the graphics btw, it's just a nice "what if".Got an Android smartphone? There's a PSP emulator and some games can look gorgeous with it. It is one of the few physical games I own and it never leaves my vita. It has gotten easier now that more and more of my physical games have gone to PS+. But yeah, it took me no time to hit that 32GB limit. Luckily it doesn't bother me enough to get the 64GB, I don't need that many games at once no matter how convenient it is.I hit the 32 GB limit on a regular basis. For the 64 GB to arrive to me.
You had the audacity to question capcomUmmm...WTF Capcom?

CAPCOM LISTENS TO NOBODY, NO ONE, NO HOW!!
Finally found what I did with the $10 PSN code I got from my PS4 purchase. I was worried it had been thrown out.
Downloading P4G right now. A sense of emptiness has gone away. What are the odds we'll ever see an SMT game on Vita? I've always preferred that series (not always so big on the zany high school hijinks).
Next thing I get will probably be Proteus. I saw the trailer and I'm like...yes. I am exactly this thing's intended audience.
I got the 10 PSM games on there and about 3 Vita games, then hit the app limit on that card too (FUUUUUU). So then I deleted everything new that I'd just wasted time putting on the 32GB card, kept it PSP/PSOne only with 8GB free. Put in my 8GB card from launch and put that stuff on there, but then ran out of memory space (FU!) for the last 2 games I was trying to add.
So now I have a 64GB card with 29GB space that's scared of the app limit, a 32GB card with 8GB space that's scared of the app limit, and an 8GB card that can't hold enough. Took hours too.
I'm surprised they included the option to disable too, pretty cool of them though. It only bugged while I was actively thinking "frost is right, it is off-putting" but it was like a conscious decision to let go and just enjoy the game how they made it. His head is a weird size and the eyes being right on the edges didn't help but got him looking cute enough pretty quick. I can't cut up paper anywhere near as well as some of the things we've seen...thinking about ordering one of those capacitive styluses for the game :POriginally Posted by corrosivefrost

I'm surprised I didn't care about the input lag before in malicious rebirth, was just soaking up the game on vita, never played it before on PS3. Now that you know there is a delay makes it feel less fair which kills my motivation to play it. Fair enough though, there is a massive difference between hub world and the levels.
Yeah I agree with this, hard to avoid impressions on forums though. Also don't want to waste money but yeah for games I know 100% I will buy, I'll try to not look into it too much even if I'm excited for it.Originally Posted by killatopak

Congrats! Not too long a wait hopefully.GAF.

So I got my 4th Vita and this one finally has a good screen.
There is a mura curve that I have seen while playing golden abyss but as it has very little of the effect I decided to let it pass
So now Vita Gaf I have officially joined you and already need to upgrade my 16gb Memory card -_-
Now I gotta get some of these PS plus titles taking up space out of the way.
Is their anyone on here wanting or doing Uncharted black market trades if so please let me know as i have yet to find anyone on near doing it. Plus I am gonna need me some Vita friends and where better to get them than Gaf.
Dunno, but there is a list out there of titles being worked on and SMT was listed.Originally Posted by LiveFromKyoto

But, I wouldn't put much stock in it as SMT was also listed for PS3.
Addicted to this game, and it's making me want Mario Kart 8, and seeing as the last time I owned a Karting game was Diddy Kong Racing on the N64 that must mean this is a pretty great title!
