Completely forgot the controller had a speaker in it. Playing Killzone SF late at night, speakers turned down, room darkened. Long bloody tutorial as a child, okay, alright, knife section ... okay, ah got my gun, got some bullets cool. What's that glowing thing. Oh audio log. I'll grab that.
!#!#BLEEPBLEEP HELGAN SOMETHING SOMETHING BLAH BLAH BLAH!#!#
Fucking thing almost deafened me, made me jump a good foot backwards and drop the controller onto the floor, all while it's blurting out some sods diary.
Jesus christ. Is there anyway to lower the volume of the thing? Or just force it through the TV speakers. I noticed later Resogun allows you to lower the Controller volume in the menu, but I can't locate anything in the KZ menu.
My heart jumped!
I thought it would be a gimmick but Resogun and Killzone use it really well. It's quite effective.
To lower the volume, hold down the PS button on the pad, goto Adjust Devices, and lower the 'Volume Control (Speaker for DualShock4)'Originally Posted by Whitechocolatekrispies

You can lower the volume by long pressing the PS button>Adjust device>Speaker volume.
edit - beaten
Sure there is! Hold the PS button and click on adjust devices. You'll see volume control for the speaker on the controller as well as headset volume if you have it connected to the controller itself.Originally Posted by Whitechocolatekrispies

Enjoy!

Unfortunately I wasn't surprised the first time I heard it because I watched multiple streams of Resogun pre-launch, so I was expecting it.
Nope. I assume you mean headphones in the controller.Originally Posted by Yoshichan

That would be so cool!
Really love it in Knack when you add relics to your body.
Anyway, you can adjust the global volume of it in the system options. I think it's located in the Bluetooth -> Controller section.
I second this idea.Dear lord of everything that is good in this world, the Super Giant Games guys better get the Transistor speaking through the controller for Transistor. I know they've got the Light Bar flashing in tune to the Transistor's speaking habits.

I love the controller noises in Knack.
Ive played resogun but never noticed sound coming out of the controller. Is it a setting or something? I wonder if it even works.
go to devices in the settings option find the controller option and adjust speaker audio.... of course you could make it so that all audio goes through your headphones thus making the speaker silentI want to mute it. How would I go about doing that?
