Actually posted this just the other day but I got this in a trade with a friend recently. Planning to keep it sealed because I've already played the game before. Not too rare or anything but still kinda cool.

Skies of Arcadia: Legends. I bought it with the intention of playing it, just never got around to it. My fiancee has a copy (albeit a PAL version) that I could use when I do decide to play it. There are stacks of others in our games room, but this is the only one that really sticks in my mind.

No, games are for playing. I open everything.

Sealed games aren't worth while investments.

There are far better opportunities out there if you want to make some cash.

Pokemon Heart Gold in the big box with the pokewalker. It's getting pretty hard to find in the UK now, amazon and eBay have copies for nearly £70.

I also have Ocarina of Time 3D OST that Nintendo gave away, that's still sealed.

I own a sealed NA copy of Xenoblade, is that rare at all? I heard you could get the game for 40 a week ago.

I also own several sealed DS games.

My sealed games are:

Rez DC (PAL)
Rez DC (JPN)
Space Channel 5 pt 2 DC (JPN)
Zelda: A Link To The Past SNES (PAL)

I know LTTP isn't that rare, but a sealed one from 1992 certainly is (in my head at least)

Edit: still got an unopened Dreamcast too. Mainly because I know the drive of my current machine will eventually die.

On Dreamcast launch day, I found a sealed copy of Simon's Quest in the Gamestop's used bin. Didn't buy it, but went back a couple days later and got it, and it had been marked down from $7.99 to $4.99 in that time. Pretty cool because it's one of my favorite NES games. About two years later, I was moving furniture and dropped a computer monitor on it by accident, crushing the hell out of it.

Only sealed games I have now are a copy of Dragon Quest IX for DS, and a copy of Kya: Dark Lineage on PS2.

i never keep my games sealed, even if i don't play them (yet)

1 exception is the Game & Watch collection for Nintendo DS that i received from Club Nintendo

i'm not planning to play that one ever, so i thought, maybe later this will be worth something

also, this doesn't really count, but i've won a Princess Peach color 3DS from a competition, the box itself wasn't wrapped in plastic, but it is untouched and the 3DS never taken out of the box

It probably is not rare but. Is it black label? Does it have the typo? Those two things could make it valuable. Then again I'm not sure what the PSN release did to FFVII value.

As for me. F-Zero GP legend which last I checked on Amazon marketplace fails to sell for £15. It is one of the lowest selling first party GBA games but is it one of the lowest shipped?

I have 2 sealed copies of Night Trap. Not the Sega CD version, but the 32x CD version. I bought them on the clearance rack for a buck a piece like 15 years ago. Also, I have a sealed copy of Pokemon Yellow I bought at a garage sale a couple of years ago.

I have no idea if either one is worth anything, but I don't think so.

I have two copies of Metroid Prime Trilogy along with the guide sealed. I also have an opened game and guide.

One was for my girlfriend but we ended up living together relatively quickly after it came out so I held onto it. The other sealed copy was just for no real reason. I love the steel books.

Graded sealed games make me feel that way even more so. I can understand grading cards, because you can still see them. Toys too, to an extent. But for games and comics, they're not getting to serve their purpose, you're right.
