ATP still has his weekly deal at Thursdays 11 est/10 central, just not this week due to Thanksgiving.

Stuff I'm ready to remove:

* WakeUp SRK hasn't had an episode for 7 months. I'd call that dead. Being removed.
* Looks like Level|Up's Smash weekly is dead. Suprisingly short lived, I guess the Smash community never came out or what? Being removed.
* You can't even really find information on CC Live anymore. thestreamtv links are dead, etc. Safe to say it's dead and no one cares.
* Pretty ready to remove anything FGTV related from OP.
* Deadly_Bison streaming FNC: The Arena or Thursday Night Throwdown? Twitch archives are months apart, I was under the impression this was regular?
* ATP Live still a thing? Seems like Aris prefers just to stream whatever, whenever, and it's impromptu. Probably will be removed.

As far as I know the Smash weekly is still going. I remember the other week (not this last Sunday but the one before?) they had like 144 people there for singles.

I could be wrong though.

Here's the archive on levelup for the last one that happened a week ago. There are archives for the other ones too I think. It had 146 entrants for Singles according to this thread on Smash Boards.

Actually, that was just the tournament name for that week. Their fall season schedule was in another thread that I just saw. >.<

They haven't done WMW for quite a while... maybe a month or so. Its not cancelled it just has been a slow season. FGTV should ramp up leading up to Capcom Cup though.

Dreamhack Winter 2013:

Some great stuff, some cool stuff, some really meh stuff.

I will start with the meh:

Crappy sleeping hall
Dreamhack devotes an entire hall to people sleeping. Having slept there, I can only assume that this is because they are compromising for lack of hotel space in the city, as it was a pretty miserable experience. The emergency lights are stuck on so there is nearly enough light to read by. There is little policing of the room. And you have a wide variety of people talking and snoring around you. The major killer, however, is the total lack of matting, or even the ability to purchase matting or an airbed at the venue. This means you have to lug something in yourself, even if you are flying in with limited baggage space. And the fact that you cannot even leave your luggage anywhere. It is a crap alternative to a hotel room and I would ward off anyone entertaining the idea of using it.

Junk food only food
It was way too hard to buy normal food. I personally only fancy eating junk food occasionally but that was the primary thing on offer. There was a small kiosk downstairs with sandwiches, still drinks and the like though. It would have been nice for a decent sandwich stall in the main halls themselves. :/

Slightly too little space for the SF4 tournament
I don't know if this can even be fixed. Despite growing attention, European FGC stuff is still regarded as a side event. Nevertheless, when you have a 100+ man tournament, the fact that you are squished into a corner next to the DOTA 2 spectator area is a bit daft.

A combination of tiredness, malnourishment, and a loud and stressful environment contributing to getting bodied on stream by a random noob

Good stuff:
USF4
Dawgtanian brought out USF4 to test. The four characters are all interesting, although I spent my time pretty much exclusively with Rolento. Picking one character and running with them for a while is a habit of mine.

Anyway, Rolento is a very strong character. His wakeup is weak but the rest of his game is strong thanks to his excellent mobility, great pokes and solid damage. One to watch. His basic stuff is cr.lk, st.lp, cr.mk x qcf.mpx3, or st.hk, cr.mk x qcf.mpx3. After such links he has great mixup. One little thing I liked is his pogo perch move, f.mk. On CH you can link it to st.lp.

Hugo is interesting. To be honest he is not all that bad. EX Backbreaker is an outstanding move as it catches almost anything that goes airborne and is instant. He also has solid range pokes and INSANE damage. J.d.hp into six jabs is over three hundred damage. Clap clap super into backbreaker is about 650. We know the numbers because Dawgtanian let us use training mode because that dude is godlike so we got the numbers.

Will write the rest once I am home. Way more good and great stuff to cover.

USD left to SRK and that website is better because of it. Enzo is doing a great job filling in for the duties/favors USD used to do for us.

You've got to be in the right condition to perform properly, especially in a setting where nerves can get to you. Unfortunately, tournaments are typically weekend-long assaults on your well-being.
