I don't understand this reasoning. You already own the game digitally and you're willing to pay $10 to have a physical game card to swap out when you want to play it even though you could just swap out the memory card with another $10 8GB memory card and have lots more than 1 game on it?

You're already willing to carry around and swap cards of games, so why not just buy multiple cheap 8GB memory modules or the $20 16GB module?

If the choice is double dipping on a physical game to make room on your memory card for $10 or instead getting a separate card to expand your overall digital storage by another 8GB for the same price. I certainly know which one I would choose.

Sly Cooper is 9$ digital.
I'm scared that if I buy it it ends up on PSN plus the next month like it did with blazeblue -_-

I doubt it, it didn't have a huge community in the beginning so it's probably pretty dead by now.

It's still an awful game though, it's not worth $10, it should be avoided by most.

I guess in some cases you can't blame them since it must take extra effort to make stuff work on the PS3 architecture. Vita and PS4 should have no excuse though.

So that's all for Vita for Cyber Monday right?

Was hoping for AC:Liberation sale since the HD versions are coming out soon, really liked playing her in AC4

Got PS3 digital version for $10 on Friday. It comes with Vita version. I think it's worth $10 even with a chance of it being free...

Same.

And with that, my physical Vita collection doubles in size. Never figured I'd go a whole year without a cart purchase.

Sure, but I was just saying if you own the game digitally and it will cost you an additional $10 to buy that same game physically, and you are only doing it to make room on your memory card, and you are perfectly willing to carry around an extra card with you, why not just buy a $10 8GB Vita memory card and load that up instead with more than 1 game and carry that around with you instead?

If it's purely for physical collection purposes, then I guess I understand that. But personally the memory card would provide more functionality for the $10 extra.

If anyone doesn't have Golden Abyss yet, pick it up. It's probably the longest Uncharted game I've played (I thought since this was a handheld Uncharted it would be short, how wrong I was), and the Vita functions work well on it.

Also it's probably the best looking Vita game yet (matched with Killzone ofc).

...Why are you assuming that I own digital copies of every Vita game? What you present would only make sense if I bought everything from PSN.

They don't sell the digital versions as cheap as these carts on sale, load times are better on the carts, and I find it much easier to swap carts out than memory cards, especially when doing the latter can mess up icon order, delete game icons entirely, and remove folders when swapping.

I might have gone digital only if Sony sold larger size memory cards for decent prices and let users have more than one account per card.

I was replying to your specific claim that you already own Sly Cooper digitally via crossbuy, but you were willing to spend another $10 to own it in physical form to free up room on your memory card. That was your breakdown of your specific situation.

And I just didn't see a reason in your exact situation for that exact game for the reasons of freeing memory up on your memory card, for you to pay $10 to double dip on one physical game when you could pay $10 for 8GB more space. It's still something physical to carry around for $10 and the 8GB card would provide greater value in your specific situation with that specific game at that specific price point.

But if the "ease of inserting" is one of the main concerns between a physical game card and a memory card, then I guess that makes sense.

I already have more than one memory card. I have a 32GB card and an 8GB card that I got when I originally bought the system. 8GB for the Vita is useless. Some games take up more than half that space with add-ons and updates. I'd rather pay for the actual cart for ten bucks than another memory card, which would be harder to find inside the case and couldn't be sold off later if I so desired.

What I carry around is of no concern to me- I got a nice Vita case that can hold up to 16 extra games. There's no difference in bringing games around or extra memory cards, for that matter.

This is a pretty pointless discussion. Let's just stop.

I thought about that, but then I thought the word was that this wasn't happening for the Vita. After all, the 1-year anniversary of PS+ on Vita already passed.
